“Dined last night 6.6.26 as a party of 13, 4 kids, 9 adults.The whole experience was good. Our waitress was friendly and nothing was to much trouble. 11 of our party had the cavery which they all agreed was excellent, hot, well cooked and tasty. 2 had the burgers with chips. Presentation was good and served with chips, also very tasty. Puddings were a good portion size and also presented well. Our overall experience was of a very relaxed and enjoyable evening. Will definatly dine here again and recommend to others.”

“We had a work leaving do here for one of the team, there was plenty of space for our group of 10 in the main pub area. The food was good and although I didnt have the carvery myself, it looked great with 4 meats to choose from and plenty of great looking sides/veg. We had a lady serving us that was only on her second shift but she did great and was very friendly with the whole table.”

“We had the most enjoyable afternoon here while on holiday. The food, atmosphere and weather really enhanced this experience. However, I think the best part was chatting with one of the locals sitting outside at a table close to us who gave us the best chuckles. He had visited our island home, Bermuda so it was nice to chat about that, life, family and politics. We both had our young adult daughters so it was a delight to chat about their new careers. The canal right outside of the pub was also great. I’m sure we’ll be back here when we come back.”
