  “Unfortunately, our experience was very mixed. The biggest issue was finding a spider in the prawn crackers, which completely put us off. Our order was also taken incorrectly, even though I confirmed it three times while ordering. To be fair, the restaurant does have a sign asking customers to check their order before leaving, so I appreciate they make people aware of that. Even so, it’s disappointing when the order is wrong despite confirming it. On the positive side, the food itself was genuinely lovely and tasted really good. If the order had been correct and there hadn’t been the hygiene issue, this would have been a much higher rating. I’d be willing to give Wong Lee another chance because the food quality was excellent, but I hope they improve both order accuracy and hygiene.”

  “Quite honestly the best Chinese I’ve ever had. Turned around a big order in less than 30 minutes on New Years Eve and it was 10/10. We are all close to tears, thank you Wong Lee.”

  “Best Chinese takeaway I have been to for many a year! Have ordered on 4 occasions and each time treated with courtesy on the phone and the food has always been top notch....highly recommend!”

  “Food was ok. Chow mein was just plain noodles, nothing else added to make it chow mein! It suited my daughter as she didn't spend hours picking out the 'bits'. My mushrooms in black bean was very nice, the spicy chicken nuggets were a little over cooked and chewy but still quite nice. I'd go there again but make sure I order sauce if having plain chow mein!!!”

  “Awful. We ordered 4 things for collection: 1) Prawn toasts. Basically just greasy bread of some sort with sesame seeds. 2) Plain chow mein. “Plain” being the operative word. 3) Crispy beef - basically just crispy batter. No beef. But the worst of it all: 4) Salt & Pepper ribs. See photo. Basically battered bone. We took a bite or two of each piece hoping for a little nibble of something meaty but found almost nothing. This was the word Chinese takeaway we’ve ever had - by a country mile. Seriously - that’s not an exaggeration. I will definitely not be ordering from this place ever again.”

  “Awful from start to finish. Guy on the phone had a real attitude problem. When we told him we would pay cash he demanded exact money as he didn't have change. Picked the food up where he asked us for a number, explained we weren't given one and he got very aggressive telling us basically we were lying. The food was so bland, no spice, no flavour at all. Every bit was awful!”

  “Have been here 3 or 4 times in the last few months. Used to love Chinese food but our local ones turned bland and really salty. Every meal has been top notch. Service very good and time given on the phone was met. Some places you arrive on time and still end up waiting 10 minutes. Keep up the good work and I wish you well. You have restored my faith in the Chinese Takeaway. Thanks.”
