  “What has happened? Visited today after quite a few months, the staff have all changed, the retro bits inside has all disappeared, where are the homeade cakes? the prices have gone up and the sandwich we.ordered had half the filling as last time...sorry we won't be visiting again 😒”

  “Lovely cafe with very nice staff. You have to be careful what you pick. Some of the menu is amazing (fry ups and scampi in particular, great cake!) Don't waste your money on sandwiches. Poorly filled, so so bread. A disappoinment!”

  “A lovely little café on a great high street with outdoor seating, which was perfect, and high chairs available for little ones. It’s quite small inside, but has a nice atmosphere. We had a full English and a smoothie – both were nice, although the sausage wasn’t really to our taste. The only downside was the price, which felt quite expensive for what we had. Overall, a pleasant visit, but a little overpriced.”

  “Awful breakfast I ordered the Vinny’s Vegetarian Breakfast, but the menu is misleading because there is also a Vinny’s Breakfast, and I was served the one with meat and sausage. The names are so similar that it’s confusing. The mushrooms were extremely soggy and tasted old, and the eggs were overcooked. Overall, the breakfast was very disappointing and not worth the money. I’d suggest making the menu clearer so customers don’t end up with the wrong breakfast. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I wouldn’t return.”

  “Teddy's is lovely. The menu is good, the prices are fair and the staff are always amazing. The rest of this review is going to be moaning about the vegetarian breakfast, so feel free to skip. I think we're past the time when vegetarian breakfasts were a compromise - a regular breakfast with the meat removed and more mushrooms added in. Many places now serve great vegetarian and vegan breakfasts that are nourishing, filling and very tasty, and compete with meat breakfasts on their own terms. Not so much at Teddy's. The good parts are the toast (done to perfection), the tomatoes (melt in the mouth), eggs (nicely poached) and avocado (perfectly ripe). The mushrooms, however, were well-cooked but smelled "farmy". Have they just been boiled, unseasoned? My main moan is with the sausages. They taste like someone has blended up the leftover potatoes, carrots and broccoli from a Sunday roast and deep fried them. But mostly the potatoes. This is a real shame as they could be the star of the show, complemented by all the other items already mentioned. But instead, it feels like you're filling yourself up with empty carbs and starch. Add to this the fact that you get two large hash browns (nice ones, as it happens), then your really feel like you're still in the bad old days of giving vegetarians loads of "sides" and hoping they'll be satisfied. I really hope the chef takes notice and tries an alternative. Quorn sausages would be good, or seitan, or tofu... There's a really good chance to make this breakfast a standout. Currently, it is disappointing.”

  “Delightful old school vibes. Cake bonanza in all the flavours you know from back in the day and rocky road x4. They have done things with the eggs Benedict you would never have anticipated. Think buttermilk chicken and pulled brisket. Like wow. The full serving is for a large hunger. But I loved it. Good coffee too, both of the cow and oat. Nice little too.”

  “After having wandered around looking for and not finding a good quality breakfast I stumbled upon Teddys. A nice friendly café ..I opted for the Full Teddy's Breakfast and it didn't disappoint. The star of the plate was the delicious creamy black pudding which was much more delicious than the standard dry rounds you get in most places.👌👌 I already fancy another one soon...”
