“It’s a seaside town, so it’s the law that you have fish & chips. We ate inside the restaurant as I’m not keen on my Fish & Chips steaming in the wrapping if you get them to take away, just my preference. We didn’t book and were fortunate to get a good table, 30 minutes later it was full for walk-ins. Tuesday night 5:30. I order the large cod with chips, peas & curry sauce, as I’m a big fan of battered fish. This was before I saw the regular sized fish, note to self, regular fish are plenty big enough. Food arrived reasonably quickly considering they were busy, everything pipping hot and the batter was light and crispy. Tasted great, all had something different and it was all enjoyed. Highly recommended, this is a great chippy.”
