Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the friendly, attentive staff, especially with groups. One diner with a chilli allergy had sauces served on the side, a work party had its dietary needs covered, and a parent hired the private room for an 18th birthday party and found the food and drinks excellent. Close behind is the food. The flat bread pizzas are called excellent, a roast dinner pleased a diner who had not known it was served, and a hen party brunch was described as delicious. Others mention a relaxed, romantic atmosphere with music, and an outdoor drinking space by the river. One reviewer suggests booking. Criticism centres on a limited menu of four dishes plus pizza, a steak called OK but overpriced, and high drink prices. A lukewarm review also found the atmosphere lacking. One food tour group reports being sent between waitresses, getting a curt reply about their drink options, and leaving after a long wait without being served any food.

“We were on a food tour, after a fabulous experience with the four other restaurants we attended. We came in was greeted by a waitress, we was advised to go and find her colleague who had the phone to scan us into the food tour, we went out to said colleague and she told us to go back to the room we were originally in. We eventually found our own seat as nobody came to us, we was asked if we could move to a table of 3 from the table of 4 we was sat at as the waitress said she had tables of 4 booked in (absolutely nobody in) so we stayed at the same seats, a different waitress approached and awkwardly asked what drinks we wanted even though we had explained twice we was on the food tour, she then rudely responded that we could have one option or another. So we all agreed on a sauvignon blanc, and then waited over 30 minutes for our meal (no check ins by the waitresses or anything), eventually, we ended up leaving as the service was absolutely horrific. Cannot comment on the food as we didn’t even get to try.”

“Had a work get together at the KWB and it did not disappoint. Great place with gorgeous decor, relaxed atmosphere and scrummy food. The staff were attentive and accommodating to various dietary needs for a large party. Will definitely return and would 100% recommend.”

“We had an amazing meal as a large group. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. They were brilliant at accomodating my chilli allergy to make sure sauces were on the side. I will definitely be going again.”

“We visited Kelham Kitchen & Wine Bar last Saturday for a hen party brunch in Kelham Island, and it was a great choice. The food was delicious and perfect for a relaxed afternoon, but what really stood out was the service. The staff were so warm and welcoming, and we were looked after brilliantly throughout. A special mention to Sarah, who went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and made the experience extra special. We all had a lovely time and would definitely recommend it. Thank you again Sarah we will be back :-)”
