Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise haircuts that match exactly what they asked for, with one showing the stylist pictures and another describing a trim and diffuse that left wavy hair the waviest they had seen it. A cut and colour is called patient and meticulous, with decisions talked through and nothing rushed. The coffee bar draws mentions too, including a cheese, marmite and burnt onion swirl pastry, though a first-time visitor found the menu on the wall hard to spot and felt rushed ordering. The most serious complaint comes from a student who had saved for months for a booked service that could not be done because the stylist lacked the required razors. They report receiving a short cut they did not want, not being told about the change or the extra cost beforehand, and getting no reply after asking for a full refund. Another reviewer who walked in to ask about an appointment was fitted in on the spot.

“I had Owen cut my hair. I walked in to see the place and ask about an appointment, he had space and fitted me in there and then. Owen was great, friendly and cut my hair perfectly. Would recommend him! Joe”

“I would like to request a full refund following my recent appointment, as I am extremely disappointed with both the service I received and the way the situation was handled. I had been looking forward to this haircut for months, saving up for it as a student and booking it for a special occasion. Unfortunately, the service I originally booked could not be provided because Jake did not have the razors required to perform it. Instead, I was given a short haircut that was not what I wanted. What concerns me most is that I was not informed beforehand that the original service could not be carried out, nor was I told about any change in pricing. Had Jake explained that the booked service was unavailable and that the alternative haircut would cost £51, I would have declined the appointment. Instead, I was charged for a service I did not ask for and was given a haircut I did not want. I find it highly unprofessional that I was not made aware of these changes before the haircut began, especially after explaining that I am a student and had been saving for this appointment. I am also disappointed that, after raising my concerns, I have not received a response. Given that the service I booked could not be provided, that I was not informed of the change or the additional cost, and that I left with a haircut that was not what I requested, I believe a full refund is appropriate. I look forward to hearing from you regarding the refund.”
