Quick info
About Triple Point Brewery + Bar
Triple Point Brewery + Bar is a brewery and taproom in Sheffield City Centre, at 178 Shoreham St, where the beers are brewed in-house and the Twisted Burger Company kitchen sits beside the brewing tanks. The bar pours a variety of its own beers in a range of sizes, and gluten-free beers are among them. The kitchen cooks burgers such as the twisted double cheese and focaccia deli sandwiches including Bordain's Best Butty, with gluten-free burgers available for anyone avoiding gluten. The food menu is fairly small, built around sharing plates and loaded fries. Food is served Tuesday to Sunday, with sandwiches on weekdays from Tuesday to Friday. The taproom plays music and is walk-in.

Customer Review Summary
Beer comes first for reviewers, who praise a good variety on the bar, beers that were all on form, and an excellent choice of gluten-free beers in the city centre. Bar staff are repeatedly called friendly and knowledgeable. One reviewer describes helpful advice on what to pick, and another a server who explained sold-out items before ordering. Food comes close behind: the twisted double cheese burger, a beef brisket focaccia sandwich, a crispy mortadella butty, and loaded fries, which one reviewer highly recommends. Music, the outdoor area with its plants, and comfortable seating also get mentions. The caveats are portions a couple of reviewers call smaller than elsewhere, no dessert option, and one diner who is not a fan of smash burgers. One match night visit drew a complaint about tables held for staff, a TV that was not loud enough, and heaters running outside, though the bar staff were still praised for working hard on a busy night. Diners also single out gluten-free burgers that look "normal" and deep fried gherkins.

“First time visiting this location and it was really nice. Me and my family ordered a couple of burgers and drinks and sat in the outside area. The seating is comfortable and the plants are a really nice touch. The staff were lovely, the food came out really quick. I would visit again but for drinks with friends, I’m not a massive fan of smash burgers but that’s totally personal preference. Loved the deep fried gherkins though!”

“Disappointed with Triple Point on Saturday night for the England game. Tables were reserved for staff members when the public could have sat there. The TV volume isn't up loud enough. The heaters are on outside! We're hot enough thanks. Only saving grace were the friendly and helpful bar staff working hard on a very busy night. Will not be returning. Will go somewhere else for the next match.”
