  “Ordered food my kids drink come, I was told mine my drink would be there soon took over 20 mins the people on other table got there food, I ask for water when I ordered food never come. My ribs was dry no sauce at all no meat only ate my chips, my daughter food hard crispy chicken no salad or sauce on burger she only ate chips which was cold. No staff on follow when other customers trying to pay, tables or drink etc very poorly run.”

  “Absolutely gorgeous food 😋 Had calamari for starters. Fajitas main & Pecan pie which was to die for 🤤. My son had Cheese & bacon bites, whiskey glazed chicken burger & chocolate brownie which he also enjoyed. Service was brilliant served by Laura 👏”

  “Everything about the service, food and the environment is just beautiful. What I had were the cheesy bacon chicken bites, whiskey glazed chicken burger and a brownie with ice cream. Props to Laura for the exceptional service.”

  “Tried to visit today for my birthday meal, arrived at 11:30 when it opened, not a single person in the place. a member of staff walked through the doors at 11:32, came back at 11:38 to advise they were opening at 12 today but nothing on the outside to say they were opening late. don’t think we will come back again early hours. edit to say, i don’t believe this is the member of staffs fault who came to tell us as they at least went in to check for us and was very apologetic but they should be putting something outside if they are opening later.”

  “Took 30 minutes to be seated and drinks order taken. Place practically empty, 3 floor staff, none had any sense of urgency looking like customers were just a bother. Many people walked away after waiting to be seated and being ignored by staff. Didn’t see a single customer that looked happy to be there. An additional 15 minutes for drinks to arrive at this point we’ve been here 45 minutes. Several tables full of plates. Table behinds order was incorrect items missing some out of stock and not disclosed other completely forgotten. Meals pilled up at the gantry and floor staff just completely ignoring it. When our meal finally arrived I was left very disappointed. Tasted like cheap pasta and there were large chunks of raw garlic scattered throughout. Safe to say we won’t be eating here again”

  “We were told there would be a 30-minute wait for a table despite there being plenty of empty tables available. Once seated, we then waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for our food. To make matters worse, my meal arrived 10 minutes after everyone else’s and was not good when it finally arrived. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of apology or acknowledgement from the staff throughout the experience. Very poor service and overall experience. I would give 0 stars if I could.”

  “Went to meadowhall branch of t g Fridays for lunch very run down seating not great could do with doing up a bit food wasn't too bad but far too expensive as it isn't as good as it used to be which is a shame because I have had wonderful meals at other branches I had fietas chicken a bit tough companions had burgers etc situated at the start of meadowhall eating area”

  “Visited yesterday (Tuesday 7th April) with my wife, travelling from Leeds. We were greeted by a friendly chap with good banter, and were seated within minutes, so wait time was minimal. The table we were shown to was spotlessly clean. Our order was taken within a few minutes by our excellent server called Lorna. When we ordered, we were asked if we wanted our starter & main at the same time (which we did). The food arrived in a good amount of time. It was piping hot, and the quality/taste was spot on. My starter (chicken and bacon bites with cheese sauce) was out of this world and the burger I ordered was just as good. Unfortunately, there was a slight issue with my wife's order. We made our server aware of this and she was very apologetic. She said she would make the kitchen aware of the issue. 2 mins later she returned and knocked the whole thing off the bill - this shows that they care more about customer service/experience than profit. Lorna was a genuinely nice lass and constantly made sure we were happy with everything. We will definitely return here when we next visit Sheffield.”

  “Absolutely terrible experience earlier today. Arrived and was asked to wait for a table to be cleared - was easily double digits of spare tables, already made up. We didn’t say anything and got a drink at the bar and was seated around 20 minutes later - on a table with crumbs all over it and all over the seats. Again, we let this slide. After a good 20 minutes more of being ignored, we waved over a waitress to take our order who immediately declared that she didn’t know what was going off as she had just returned from her break. We waited at least another 20 minutes - could see waitresses huddled in corners chatting between themselves. We were not offered to order other drinks. Our shared starter finally arrived and was dumped down on our table on top of a pile of menus and napkins - “here you go guys here’s your starter”. She turned to leave and I said please can we have plates. She snapped back at me loudly yes of course I’m going to give you plates just give me a minute. All the tables around us went quiet and it was very embarrassing. We felt the food and it was all stone cold. Completely cold! Must have been sat on the pass for 10 minutes to be that cold! We got up to leave and refused to pay, only to learn that it was THE MANAGER who had served us and spoken so rudely. Honestly, this place has no hope looking at all the other reviews too. TGI’s used to be famous for excellent service, but it was horrendous today. There is just no excuse. There was ZERO need to make us wait for a table. No excuse in a restaurant for cold food - ever! And basic human decency and manners are expected at the very least. I will never set foot in a TGI’s again after this experience. Ended up eating in the food court downstairs where it was busy but at least the food was warm. The manager needs to go and the whole team on review whilst being retrained by someone who knows what they are doing.”

  “Absolutely dreadful from start to finish. Boneless wings with barely any sauce, some pieces hot some Luke warm. £19 burger came and it looked like a kids meal, 2 patties which even together shouldn't have qualified as one burger, chips which were the portion size of a small fries from McDonald's, asked for it with just onion and it arrived with everything on, it was luke warm and we waited 50mins for that rubbish. Daughters meal came and the corn was freezing as though it had just come out of the fridge and again chips which were half the portion of a small fries. We asked for ketchup which after waiting 6 mins still didn't arrive, asked again and still took a further 3 mins. Why didn't you complain you ask, well if a staff member had returned immediately with the ketchup then I would have but we had waited nearly 1hr and at this point my daughter had enough of waiting. We mentioned the corn and they then brought her another which this time had obviously been nuked in a microwave and was that hot it was inedible for quite some time and even then it was like overcooked mush. At no point did anyone ask if everything was OK and we even heard someone near us complaining and the manager tried to tell them it was their fault for not saying anything, which they had. Surely this level of service and quality of food isn't cost effective over supplying good quality food with decent portion sizes and receiving no complaints. We have used TGI Fridays for years and I must say I have noticed a decline but that yesterday was utterly disgraceful and we wont ever visit again unless the offer a food quality promise and service. I look forward to receiving a automated generic e mail back as they can't even respond to your dreadful e perience personally.”
