About Indian Brasserie
Indian Brasserie is an Indian restaurant in Seahouses, found at 40 Main St. The menu includes lamb kebab wrapped in egg chapati, which brings the meat and the bread together in a single dish. Chicken tikka masala comes with pilau rice, and peshwari naan is on hand as the bread alongside it. A tandoori starter is made for sharing, so a table can begin the meal together. Service moves course by course, with the servers clearing plates between courses and bringing the bill straight away.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the chicken tikka masala, usually alongside peshwari naan that several call lovely or unbelievably good. Close behind are a duck dish one diner had never tried before, a lamb shank, a Pasanda with mixed Byriani, a sharing tandoori starter and a lamb kebab wrapped in egg chapati. Poppadoms arrive warm with a dip tray, and one reviewer praises a house-made sweet chilli sauce that is not sold. Staff come up repeatedly as friendly and welcoming, including with a toddler, and one server brought a card machine out to a customer waiting in a car with a dog. Several came back after an earlier holiday visit, and one went two nights in a row. The only real quibble is that portions are a bit smaller, and one reviewer suggests booking because an early midweek sitting was close to full. Takeaway orders are described as friendly and ready on time, and one diner was in and out in 43 minutes.

“We came to Seahouses last year and had a great meal here. So much so we went back last night and we weren't disappointed. Even better than last time. Not overpriced either and the staff are really friendly and pleasant.”

“Excellent meal again. We ate here 2 years ago on holiday and came back, and we weren’t disappointed. The poppadoms were warm, great dip tray. Starters were delicious. Had lamb kebab wrapped in egg chapati - have never seen that before but will look for it again. Curries were excellent as last time with a great range of options. Service was excellent again too. Thoroughly recommend.”

“The staff here are superb! I had my dog with me so couldn't go inside, but had parked right outside. The waiter took my take-away order, they let me take a drink to my car, knocked on the window to bring the food out, and even insisted on bringing the card machine out to me! The curry was delicious too. I highly recommend, thank you!”

“I'd advise booking as even on a midweek early sitting before the main summer session kicks off it was close to full. Really good quality indian food. The lamb shank was particularly good. The staff there was also all really good with our toddler and really made us feel welcome.”
