About Church Lane Tea Room
Church Lane Tea Room is a small tea room in Seaford, at 18 Church St, close to the train station and a stop before the Seven Sisters hike. The kitchen makes its pies and flans in house, including the Chicken & Sweet Potato Pie and the Beetroot & Goats Cheese Flan, across a menu of nine dishes. Scones come as a cream tea with homemade jam and clotted cream, and they can be ordered with a drink as a set. Breakfast and brunch food is served alongside coffee and tea, with Eggs Benedict on that menu. The owners are on site.

“My friends and I went to this delightful, cosy, tea room on Friday. We had a cream tea. The scones were so light and delicious. They came with homemade jam, which was also delicious, and clotted cream. They were amongst the best scones I've ever had. Great service, absolutely fantastic tea. We will definitely be back.”

“Amazing tea room with delicious jams and scones especially, but also the breakfast food was fantastic. Lovely owners who clearly care about what they do. If I’m back in Seaford I’ll go back again for sure!”

“I highly recommend this tea room. The scones and eggs Benedict are delicious. It’s a very convenient stop before hiking the seven sisters cliffs and is close to the train station. They were very kind to us.”

“Small cozy tea room. Very reasonable prices . Scones with a drink at £5.50. Taste is ok 👍. Could improve on the coffee. Coffee was over extracted, so it was too bitter. Otherwise this is a good place to stop by to rest your feet.”
