About Trenta Pizza
Trenta Pizza sits on Home Street in Scunthorpe as a pizza takeout that also runs a small sit-in counter for those who want to eat on the spot. The kitchen turns out the usual pizzeria staples, including a 12in salami pizza and cheesy chips on the side, and the menu extends beyond pies to a lasagne. Service is walk-in, with orders placed at the counter for both takeaway and eat-in. Beyond its pizza range, the shop handles the standard takeout sides, making it a straightforward stop for a quick meal in the town centre.

Customer Review Summary
Pizza draws the praise here, with two reviewers calling it the best in Scunthorpe and around Doncaster. A longtime customer says toppings have become sparse and uneven, with some slices looking like a Margherita. Others describe a bland veg pizza, a stodgy lasagne with overcooked pasta, soggy chips, and cold food that arrived very late.

“This pizza used to be much better, especially when it came to the amount of toppings. Over the years, I've noticed a very clear difference, and it really feels like they're trying to save on ingredients now. Some slices of my pizza practically looked like a Margherita because the toppings were so sparse and unevenly distributed that some slices ended up with almost nothing on them. I've been eating here for years, so I have something to compare it to, and the difference in the amount of toppings is very noticeable. The pizza itself is still good, even though it hasn't been made in a traditional oven for a long time, like it was in the beginning. But when it comes to the toppings, the cost-cutting is really obvious. At this point, you could almost say they're being used symbolically. It's a shame because I remember how good this pizza used to be.”

“It's ok. I would go again but try and create a better tasting veg pizza. It was a bit bland compared to Papa John. It's basically a takeaway place but you can sit in at the counter tables if you like”

“Food arrived after 1hr and 10mins not usually a problem if its worth the wait, it wasn't. The lasange was stodgy the pasta was overcooked, the white sauce looked like cottage cheese consistency YUCK, chips were soggy and anaemic. So disappointed after we heard great reviews! £27.97 for lasange, cheesy chips and 12in salami pizza. Avoid at all costs.”
