Customer Review Summary
Friendly, welcoming staff are what reviewers mention most, from a server who suggested a freshly made chocolate muffin to a team that served drinks to a table of six late on a Sunday afternoon without rushing them. Diners also praise the food, including a breakfast wrap, poached eggs on smashed avocado made with gluten free bread, and a mango and passionfruit smoothie. Several single out the vegetarian and vegan options and the good range of food and drink. One parent says the cafe has always been accommodating with a 12 month old, and others mention spotless tables and a beautiful seating area. The criticism is narrower. One reviewer says that since new owners took over, the food looks better but left a greasy aftertaste, the traditional breakfast felt overcooked, and substitutions are not offered, only paid extras. Another felt a chicken bacon and halloumi wrap that came without chips was poor value. Outdoors, reviewers describe covered tables where the heater was switched on and fleece blankets were offered.

“We had a lovely lunch at the cafe today. We sat outside as they had tables under cover with lovely fleece blankets (It's December!) and we were lovely and warm. The waitor was prompt to take our order and just told us to wave if we needed anything. Food arrived and was DELICIOUS! I have a Gluten and cow dairy intolerance but they happily made the most amazing lunch of poached eggs on a bed of smashed avocado with feta cheese and a side of rocket with pomegranite seeds. It looked and tasted perfect with gluten free bread, no butter and feta (goats milk). I had a mango and passionfruit smoothie on the side and yum yum yum! Had a lovely lunch with great service and a lovely atmosphere! we might have sat inside but I do find you tend to smell of fried foods inside smaller cafe's and this would have been the case here too, but that can't be helped and it looked nice inside..”

“Me and my family turned up at 3:30 on Sunday and was treated extremely well even though they were clearing up. There was 6 of us, we all ordered different drinks and nothing was to much trouble for them. Didn't rush us and was very courteous. Didn't have anything to eat so can't commit on the food.”
