  “We had Kung Po Chicken, Singapore Rice Noodles, Chicken Chow Mein and Chips. Tasted really good! Large containers were used for the noodles! The slightly crispy batter on the Kung Po Chicken was perfect. We will repeat this exact order in the near future as we didn't realise how excellent everything was!”

  “Made a phone order to collect, guy was pleasant and professional and was happy to answer questions and change a couple of bits for us, he said 30 mins and we got there in 28 just as our food came out of the kitchen, had a wide selection, chicken balls, crispy beef, chinese chicken, chicken chow mein, egg and boiled rice sauces and chips, all was very tasty and well cooked very much enjoyed will have again soon”

  “We regularly use the Oriental Delight when spending our annual 2-week holiday in Rye. The food is good quality and the service is very good. I recommend them over the other Chinese takeaway near the Landgate.”

  “Ordered chicken fried rice & it was no fried rice. It was boiled rice with some chicken pieces and 10 green peas. No soy sauce, no sesame oil, no spring onions. NOTHING. Def wasn’t fried on the wok. When I brought it up, they said that’s how they make it and were making remarks that were not customer friendly. Probably is the only ‘Chinese’ place around. That’s why it’s acceptable”

  “Order £102 from here last night, the man on the phone was extremely rude after asking a question about paying by card over the phone has a card machine but doesn’t take over the phone (clearly because he doesn’t know how to) then proceeded to ignore my call back until I rung off another number, then the food took two hours to come also giving the delivery man the wrong address very very very rude man on the phone not good for business. Food was ok but not very good service on the phone.”

  “We ordered a huge Chinese feast from Oriental Delight Rye for a hen party, and it was spot on. The food arrived quickly, piping hot, and absolutely delicious—every dish was full of flavour and cooked to perfection. From crispy spring rolls to rich curries and noodles, everything was fresh and satisfying. We catered for 10 people and still had plenty left over, all for just £13 per person—unbelievable value for money! The portions were generous, the service was efficient, and the whole experience made our celebration even better. Highly recommend for group events or anyone craving top-notch Chinese takeaway in Rye. Will definitely be ordering again!”

  “Amazing food. Everyone enjoyed their food. Was a small trip from where we where staying at camber sands, but a quick and efficient phone call placed an order. There is a small shopping car park just round the corner that offers what they call a 'little shop' and is free for under 30 minutes. Ideal for stopping there, walk across road and up slightly to the Oriental express to pick up your food. And so tasty it was too, good selection. Only dropped a single mark as the prices where higher than expected, and by comparison to other Chinese takeaways we visited this year.”
