“Really disappointed with this visit. The coffee was overpriced, the cup wasn’t even full, and it tasted average for the price. We came at 2:30pm and it felt like they were already done for the day – not welcoming to customers at all. Food options were basically non-existent. The pastry selection was limited and pricey too. The toilet situation was the final letdown: it’s outside the café, locked, and doesn’t even have a sink inside. Won’t be coming back. Very disappointing experience overall.”

“I live in Hockley and so was looking read to be finally getting a decent coffee shop and Market West does not disappoint. Staff really friendly, coffee good and choice of cakes excellent. Have already been here three times and it’s only been open a week. Will definitely be back for more.”

Always excellent coffee, although it is expensive compared to other local independents. However, it would be great to have more vegan options.”
