  “We’re regulars at PizzaExpress in Rochester and it’s always a pleasure to visit. We love the location and atmosphere, but what really makes this restaurant special is the wonderful team who make us feel so welcome every time. Everyone is consistently friendly, attentive and helpful, and it’s clear that they genuinely care about making each visit an enjoyable experience. A special thank you to Andrej and Tom this week, who went out of their way to make our son’s birthday dinner feel extra special. Their warmth and thoughtfulness really made a difference, and we left with big smiles all round! The food was great, as always, but it’s the people who make us keep coming back.   “Excellent, kind and polite staff make this an exemplary branch of the ever-popular pizza restaurant chain. We were warmly welcomed and swiftly seated as walk-in diners on a busy Saturday evening. Pizzas and doughballs were comfortingly familiar and yummy. Staff excellent and hard-working throughout, and our waitress Saskia was really wonderful - she was sweetly friendly, smart, and really diligent, and took real care with an allergy request for us.   “We had such a lovely experience, and a big part of that was thanks to our waiter, Justin. He was incredibly attentive, friendly and helpful throughout our visit, making sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive.   “Visited on a Wednesday evening with a mixed party of adults and children. Service was relatively slow throughout the evening but that was OK, we weren't in a massive rush. However, the problems began when it came time to order dessert. Between us given the dessert menus to the desserts coming to the table was a few minutes shy of an hour. We would have left but the children had been promised them and were looking forward to them. When they finally arrived we pointed out what had happened and politely asked if due to our wait one or two of the desserts could be knocked off the bill as a gesture of good will. I was told that they would ask the manager but with no further explanation was given the bill with no discount. We asked for the manager who said that it wasn't that long and we couldn't expect quick service because they were busy. The place was busy but hardly full to bursting. Now our server Saskia was lovely and polite and a pleasure to deal with all evening and it's her pleasant nature that saves this from being a one star review. The problem seems to stem from management- if you can't roster a team for a Wednesday evening and run the restaurant accordingly without hour long waits there is an issue. Especially when a reasonable request of 8 quid off a £225 bill as a sorry is literally ignored instead of a polite no. Pizza Express is usually a lovely experience but the Rochester branch is somewhat lacking.”

  “Served by a lovely French lady called Sandra and a couple of her colleagues. She was very helpful and friendly. The food was great and the wine was equally appreciated. The perfect way to spend an anniversary lunch. We will definitely be back soon. We’d forgotten just how nice this place is.”

  “We had a family visit to Pizza Express Rochester this afternoon. Our waitress Sandra was fantastic. She was friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable about the menu. The meals were delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant, and it’s great to have this gem on the High Street.”

  “We visited Sunday 15th march (mothers day) I thought i had booked a table but through my own error I booked the wrong day!! Luckily justina squeezed us is so thank you 🙏 Our server was justin and he was fantastic at his job! Attentive, smiley, informative and just a pleasure! Food was amazing! We had such an amazing experience that we cannot wait to come back.”

  “Fantastic service from Andrej, nothing was too much trouble and he was happy and helpful. Great food as always. Sunday night, but the staff were all friendly and enthusiastic. The bench seating is in desperate need of refurbishment, but didn't detract from the general atmosphere.”
