  “We have tried most chippies in the area, this is undoubtedly the worst, massala fish is just a slither of fish in some sort of orange batter, chips are mainly bits and rubbery definitely won't be using this place again very disappointing”

  “I get that prices have gone up, but nearly a tenner for cheesy chips and curry sauce? £9.90! That’s not inflation, that’s daylight robbery with a side of grated cheddar. Just a little reminder, folks – this is Redditch, not Brighton Pier. Unless the chips come with a free donkey ride or a stick of rock, someone’s having a laugh!”

  “Went in for a large chips and came back with this. Thought it was a bag of chips, I’ve seen cone sizes bigger than this. £5 for this is shocking to be honest. Ghost town inside with little food on show. Lady serving was nice just wish we had more for our money.”

  “Was not expecting to pay £11.25, even for a large donor kebab and chips, but things are getting more expensive these days, and the price of dine out food has gone up, but still… it took a while to arrive, and I was the only customer, and when it did, it didn’t look like what I’d call a large portion. However, they did get my order right (basic) and the guy behind the counter did kindly give me a cutlery knife and fork 🍴 to eat it with, which added to the experience. Place looked like it had been done out a bit since last time too, which was another nice touch.”

  “We stopped to grab some food for tea on the way home and the staff couldn't be more friendly and polite, the food was hot and very tasty. I also really liked they use trays to put the items in, so much easier when you get home to eat, also they are recyclable! Although I wish they had paper bags, the plastic ones were biodagradable. If you can get the mushy peas/sauce pots to be recyclable too that would be great 🙂”

  “Used to be one of the best chippies in Redditch. Since new management and owners took over, it is easily one of the worst for customer service and quality (and hygiene standards). Have ordered from here a fair few times and the order has arrived absolutely stinking of cigarette smoke and the drivers have been rude and impatient, it takes me more than a moment to get to the door as I am in a wheelchair. The food has been greasy and not what I would have expected for £7 for a cod meal! The soggy chips tasted as though they had been reheated and I have even found hair in my food! We ordered from them last week and we ended up with first getting the wrong order (and the driver didn't know a word of English and we had to phone the restaurant directly) and the right food was delivered. We were offered a free meal as compensation for the situation and when my partner called to claim this, I could hear the man on the phone shouting insults at him down the phone and accusing him of lying when he had made us that promise. Terrible service. Terrible attitude. AVOID.”
