  “Myself and my wife are regular visitors to a Toby restaurant, but this one by far is the best in the area! I’m not 100% sure but I think the managers name is Manny? Please excuse me if I’m wrong, but this guy is always welcoming and always spends a few minutes to talk to us and always seems to remember about something that is going on in our lives, his team are also very hard working and polite and I highly recommend visiting this lovely restaurant.   “This place is made brilliant by the staff. We go Friday Lunch and they are so friendly and kind. They help me with the app and laugh every time I make the "kids eat for £1" as with my elderly parents.”

  “Our waitress Hannah was absolutely amazing, she was kind, friendly, very happy & helpful. My mum wasn’t sure what wine to have as she can’t drink strong wine so Hannah recommended either the house white or a wine she likes to drink & Hannah’s choice of wine won the day. Hannah really made our visit a happy one & Hannah said we’d made her day too. The food was also amazing, plenty to go around, Yorkshire’s were huge & the roast potatoes perfect.”

  “I've dined here several times. Have never had a bad service. Food is perfectly cooked. It's clean. Polite staff. Can get crowded at times, especially on special days. Waitresses do not rush you! Great customer service.”

  “Honestly would not go to another carvery, the food is always great, the service is examplary. Hannah is just a delight the place could be so busy but she always has time to say hi and ask how you are! And when she is serving will always go out of her for people, a credit to the company”

  “Giving that this is my wife and mines 3rd time here for our anniversary and birthday meals I can honestly say that everything from cleanliness, food, service and staff and the happy atmosphere are absolutely amazing, our server Hannah to which we have had twice is a credit to her job, she is always smiling, happy to have a conversation regarding any issues and extremely helpful and joyful, we couldn't of asked for more to make us both relaxed and happy to eat our meals in a very happy Toby Carvery. As for the meals we had the self serve large dinners, and everything from meats to vegetables was really appealing and went down a treat, as for puddings we both had the honey comb ice-cream and if my stomach could take it I would've eaten her's too. Thank you all from the manager, chef's and serving staff for an enjoyable afternoon and the hard work you all put in to keep your customers happy.”

  “I enjoyed their cheese cake. We went in to celebrate a birthday. Their desserts were delicious. Unfortunately, the night we visited, there was a few issues with toilets being blocked. The manager was hands on in making sure the facilities are clean and accessable in unblocking them for customers use. The place was not as packed but fairly busy as it was midweek. English roast dinner, was disappointing. Ended up ordering nuggets and chips just to eat and fill up. They didn't do burgers when we wanted to change our orders, unfortunately. No food take away. I was not impressed with a cat in the food establishment. Oh well, guess expectations were high.”

  “This was the best Toby Carvery I have been too, and I have been to many. This quaint little place by the services had Carvery serving Staff, that are the best I have seen. They worked around each other like they were one person. Knowing where to be and to serve. The portions were good and know how to carve. What I thought was a large line, was gone very quickly. They just knew where to be and what to do. I have never seen a line go down so quickly. It was the self serve at the vegetables that was the hold up. The gravy was done right, not too thick (many do this) and not too thin. I was not adding extra lumps to my food. Waiting staff also were efficient, tables were cleared, friendly and knew the job. This little place is impressive, and could teach others how to do this. Langley is a prime example on how NOT to do it. I cannot praise the staff at this place high enough. They had a constant flow and delt with it better than others I have been too. I will be going here again and it is now my favourite. I will travel the extra miles for this.”

  “Great place and good foods. The only thing is we have been waiting for 30 mins, the chef didn't let the waitress know, our food is ready. Until we have to go to the carvery counter, ask for it. The server is very friendly and attentive. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the food.”
