  “Called for the first time as a couple after reading mixed reviews. Food was ok, portion sizes were large. Started with prawn toast, crispy seaweed and prawn crackers. Prawn toast very nice and lots of it. Wife had King Prawn Chop Suey with chips which had lots of prawns and veg but few beansprouts or water chestnuts. Chips were chip shop style and plentiful. I had king prawn curry and boiled rice, lots of prawns and sauce with plenty of onion chunks and peas. Good portion of boiled rice, probably enough for two people. One large tiger beer 640ml and a Diet Coke all for £60. Not fantastic but I’d say ok and reasonable value and would visit again for a sit down meal. Staff attentive and friendly and service quick and food fresh.”

  “Went as a large group of 15. Pre booked our table. Service was amazing, took orders in family groups and gave us separate bills. Everyone was very impressed with the food, large variety between us and all said they would visit again.”

  “If you are around this area, avoid this Chinese at all costs. The food and hygiene is horrendous. Me and my boyfriend decided to come here for a nice takeaway. We ordered salt and pepper chicken. The chicken was severely undercooked. My boyfriend ended up with terrible food poisoning from this food. DEFINITELY avoid this Chinese. Not nice food!!!!”

  “I wish I had read the reviews before I went to this place, plenty of chicken but it was over cooked and tough like it had been boiled, the veg of the chop suey (chicken and vegetable dish) consisted of 2 bits of broccoli, about 6 bean sprouts, 3 quarters of a mushroom and some raw carrot (skin on) and 3 baby sweetcorn chopped in half.”

  “Absolutely awful. Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience with this meal. The food lacked flavor and didn’t taste quite right. It was overly greasy and I found it difficult to eat. Overall, not up to the standard I was hoping for.”

  “Have eaten takeaway from this restaurant for many years. Decided to sit in the restaurant with my youngest son. Same meals apart from two drinks, which came to £8.50. The whole bill was £25.00 more than a takeaway. I understand I am paying extra to sit in, but my main concern was the portion size, tiny compared to takeaway.”

  “Oily tastless chow mein with almost zero beansprouts or veg in it. Dry cardboard chips. Chicken balls that don't resemble balls at all and looked like they were cooked a week ago. Uncle Ben microwave rice. Prawn crackers were ok though. Avoid!”

  “We love this place, as we're a local to this. The take out side food quality is the exact same to restaurant. We like to go when it's quiet, always a lovely warm welcome when you enter, very friendly and nothing is a problem. Food is always hot and a great amount 1 meal is enough for us to share as the potions are large. We have the house special chow main, egg fried rice chips curry and gravy, and of course my prawn toast. Never have we had a issue or a problem with our food drinks or staff always happy to help. Even on take out 1 meal is enough to share but like I say I am a small eater. Price is fair for the amount you receive.”
