  “Visited 28th July at about 18:30, food it self wasn’t to bad, however for the price wasn’t good, fish was overcooked and then was fairly cold, chips where ok but it’s a chip not hard to cook I guess however I disagree with a 10% service “surcharge” to eat in the “dining” area that gets me, you still have to go and collect your food that’s still served in takeaway boxes, we ordered 2 cod a medium chips and some mozzarella dippers 2 cans of pop, that was a little over £40 to ask for ketchup and some tartar sauce to have to pay another £1.30 for it I wouldn’t mind but where is the service We get charged for last time I paid a service fee it came on a plate and it was brought to me, The staff looked like they were being held hostage to work there , 10% service change don’t even get a smile, let alone abit of sauce, could be a great place however it’s massively expensive and to be honest McDonalds put this place to shame, unfortunately there isn’t one close and no uber don’t deliver, Management your welcome to contact me however I guess you won’t, I have more to say but I wont bother wasting my time here,”

  “Just lovely. My go to combo being battered sausage and chips. Exceptional taste and texture. These are made even more perfect with the phenomenal Irish curry sauce giving unique flavour no other chippy has. Having the nice curry flavour, with some sweetness with a nice kick to top it all off”

  “Some great chips! The staff who served me was great and friendly. The seats and tables were clean and I like the added touch of having salt and vinegar readily available on the side. They also had options of fish and a lunchtime special that seemed nice aswell. Drinks were also available. The seats were comfy and modern. Overall, a great fish and chip shop to stop and have lunch!”

  “Amazing fish and chips cooked in beef dripping. Batter was crispy and tasty. Peas were spot on. It cost me £18 for 2 meals with drinks which I think is very reasonable for the quality of food served. …”

  “We were not allowed to sit down at the table because "they are short staffed" even though another couple was eating at the table. We were only told this after we paid for our food. The fish was extremely greasy too. My recommendation: avoid!”

  “Came in to the creel after a very wet walk, greeted by lovely ladies who explained all the specials to us. We ordered a variety from the menu including the special of hake. All good was cooked to perfection and SO tasty. Honestly, one of the best fish and chips i have had in a really long time. 100% recommended, well done team! Thanks again”

  “Always go here when passing through Porthmadog. Absolutely first class fish and chips. Fish cooked to order, so fresh and hot, selection of excellent curry sauces, and good value for money. Can't beat it!”

  “Banging fish and chips. Fresh battered sausage was so good not too oily. Cod was lovely and flaky. Gravy and curry sauce were PHAT. Overall very good grub, I recommend if you’re around Porthmadog.”
