  “First time in Popeyes a couple of weeks ago. Found the on screen ordering confusing to navigate and I ended up having to order a meal when I only wanted tenders. There was quite a wait for my order. I had my dog with me and there didn’t seem to be a problem with him being in the restaurant or visible notices on the door saying he couldn’t come in but the second time in went in last week I was told dogs are not allowed, ironically, by the chap that served me my meal the previous time and made no comment about my dog! Chicken was delicious but won’t be going again.”

  “Today was my first ever visit to Popeyes. Been meaning to try it for it ages. Honestly I wont be back. Place was clean, cant really say there was any service apart from the man who cleaned the table. Ordering was fine, food was delivered to table. Wait for food was long but not unrealistic for cooked food. It was just bland tasteless chicken I cant understand why you would choose this over the competitors UPDATE: Unfortunately, things got considerably worse after I posted my original review. I gave Popeyes 3 stars based purely on the experience in the restaurant. The food was bland and tasteless, but at that point I thought that was about as bad as it was going to get. Then I got home… and all hell broke loose. 💩 Let’s just say the chicken didn’t agree with me, and I had a pretty rough time afterwards. 😂 I was genuinely looking forward to finally trying Popeyes after hearing so much about it, but after the bland food followed by what happened afterwards, I honestly cannot see any reason to choose this over the competitors. The original 3 stars were probably generous. I definitely won’t be back.”

  “I was served pink undercooked chicken, a member of staff tried to convince me it was cooked when it clearly wasn’t it was cold inside and pink every piece was pink inside, The staff didn’t offer a refund until I basically told the guy I’m not happy with that and want a refund now. He was reluctant to refund me and only refunded half of my meal. Out of decency and surly as an apology you would just refund the whole thing? The tables were dirty and area they cook in was messy with food all over the floor, the staff were all really young so no wonder it was a terrible experience! We certainly won’t be returning ever again we use to enjoy it but never again now.”

  “Very disappointing experience at Popeyes Louisiana Chicken. The service was extremely slow, even though there were plenty of staff in the kitchen. Instead of focusing on orders, they seemed more interested in chatting with each other. I had to wait around 30 minutes just to receive my burger. I only had 15 minutes of free parking, so because of the delay I ended up having to pay for parking as well. Overall, poor service and a frustrating experience. I would not recommend this place and will not be returning.”

  “I don't know why people rave so much about this place, but I suspect that they were asked to give a positive review in exchange of discount (some even write that they were approached by staff to give positive review). The first impression is good, but I quickly realised how filthy it is. Trash is everywhere and nobody cleans. Both bon stations were overfilling with rubbish and trays, yet staff were interested. Two seats were damaged and milkshakes were stored next to a garbage bin! It's expensive for fried chicken but I decided to give it a go. Waiting time was nearly 20 minutes (screen showing orders was empty) and staff were either not interested or clueless, but after chasing I got my meal and oh boy, how unpleasant it was. I tried a burger with chips and hot chicken wings. It's understandable that it's hot, which I love, but it's so salty, it's unbearable. Consistency of the chicken and the burger was actually good. Chicken was tender and juicy inside and crispy outside, but this was killed by the amount of salt used. It's a fast food chain so I should expect msg (and I like it). I get that, but spices feel like containing 80 of salt and some Cajun seasoning. I'm surprised as feedback is mainly positive and this food is not just expensive, but also unpleasant to eat.”

  “Really delicious food and excellence service. Restaurant was very clean and well maintained. Vanessa one of the workers was really great and provided excellent service. Amazing price on the kids meals you cannot beat it. Very happy. 5/5. The kids”

  “The Chicken was great, unlike KFC the chicken was not swimming in grease. The burger was just fantastic, The wrap was just delicious. Unfortunately it did take 3 attempts to get the order right, but that might just be me as everywhere I go, no one can seem to get my order right the 1st time. Overall the service was great and happy to fix any issues immediately”

  “Absolutely banging chicken. You'd be a fool not to try it sooner rather than later. The staff are super friendly and provide an excellent service. They even apologised for the delay in our food arriving however we didn't think there was a delay. One final note, we love the atmosphere here. The music is very catchy and livens it up even more.”
