“Seafood Linguine with smoked trout was so good that I had to split it with my wife who usually doesn’t like fish. Loved the flavor, absolutely delicious. The chicken sandwich was juicy and crisply bettered. The service was fast and high quality despite how incredibly busy they are. The atmosphere is on point and restrooms clean. The tables are clean and NOT sticky. Absolutely nothing to complain about.”

“On our one night in Pitlochry we chanced upon the Auld Smitty inn which was overflowing with locals and tourists. Somehow we lucked into a table for a beer and despite the frenzied atmosphere and others being turned away without bookings we were fortunate to find a friendly bartender Ethan who was also jumping in as waiter that night because of the crowds. Ethan went above and beyond to be attentive, helpful, curious and engaging and made our night uniquely special. I was thrilled to partake of my first Sunday roast this trip which was amazing and my husband really enjoyed his seafood linguine. The wine was excellent and the atmosphere lively and joyful. What a wonderful find in this charming village!”

“Went here for lunch when on a Caledonian Travel tour. Arrived really early just before opening time and the barman let us in to look at a menu. Very nice pub, weather was sunny and we sat outside it the beer garden. Ordered some mussels and a ciabatta and had a few pints and a carafe of wine. Lovely! Would recommend 🍷 🍽️”
