  “We had Robyn as a server she was fantastic. service was really good very polite and engaging in conversation her cocktail skills are amazing she made us feel welcome after travelling from cornwall it was nice to be served by someone who is a funny and bubbly professional person she is a valued member of staff great credit to Great Oak Beefeater”

  “This was our first time at this particular Beefeater, and to be honest I wasn’t expecting too much due to previous mediocre experiences with this chain before. Well I was quite blown away to be honest. It was quite busy, but the service was excellent by our young waitress Megan. A lovely welcoming smile and service to match, The food was superb, hot tasty and sooo yummy.”

  “Popped in here before 5pm and was delighted to a great valued meal. 8oz sirloin steak with chunky chips, fired tomato and mushroom. Started I had the chicken and BBQ sauce. Serviced quickly and the door was lovely an hot. Great value at £21 with a Guinness! However, the glasses are dirty! All glasses that we were served with had lots of marks - some still had lipstick on it. The cooked breakfast was disappointing; the black pudding was over cooked and lost all moisture. The eggs were again over cooked and were rubbery in texture.”

  “First time here, a stop off on the way to Crawley FC to watch oldham. Very clean, very friendly. Great geunine customer service by Charlotte, Robyn and Harvey. We have been to a lot of beefeater. The Great Oak is one of the best we have been to. We will defiantly be calling in every time we are in the area.”

  “Me and family booked a table for my nan birthday for Sunday roast at the great oak beefeater. What a disappointment . We came specially for the Sunday roast , and it was out of stock, and many more options from the menu like some of the steaks, chicken skewers, and other bits were not available. So, it's not a very good start. Starters were good 3 for 14.99 , calamari was very good. Halloumi fries were a bit dry but good Mains were okay but not the best presentation and small portions, Halloumi skewers were disappointing, only 3 bits of halloumi came out on the skewer, had to ask for more halloumi, and the waitress inmediatly did sort this out. However, everything else was okay. Just disappointed there was quite a bit off the menu that we couldn't have”

  “A great Beefeater decided to visit the Great Oak as our usual ( Rusty Cutter) has closed. Great menu and was able to use all our coupons. We were served by Harley. Thanks to all the friendly staff. Price is good 👍🏻 if you have a coupon. Dessert 🍨🎂 was lush 🤤. Would recommend. Clean and tidy 😉.”

  “Couldn’t fault it! Staff were amazing, friendly and accommodating, especially friendly and fun with my daughter. The young lad that served us was very informative and gave brilliant service. Food was great at an amazing price. 2 courses after 5pm Monday to Friday for £14.95 (something like that). Location just off the motorway and easy to get too. Thank you!”

  “We stopped here for a spot of dinner whilst staying at the premier Inn adjacent. The pub had a nice relaxed atmosphere and the menu although not large was extensive. The food was average, the staff were friendly. There was a fairly good selection of wines, beers and spirits, it's a beefeater so it's consistent.”

  “My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and decided to have lunch at this lovely place. Our waiter George was simply wonderful. He showed us the best spot in the restaurant area, provided the allergies information and checked that my choices from the menu were acceptable for my needs. I had a mouthwatering salmon salad and a delicious vegan ice-cream and fruit sorbet for dessert. At the end we were given a Happy anniversary card with a small box of chocolates. All in all a very nice experience and I highly recommend this place to anybody reading this comment.”
