  “Family birthday lunch for 5, note to all don't use a 33% off vouchers because you will be penalised for doing so. Our puddings for which I paid for 1 small and 3 large, we received 1 large and 3 small. We asked why, got told because we used a voucher we therefore recieved a %less in food. I had hot fudge brownie with 1 child like small blob of ice cream. Everyone knows a yummy warm brownie needs ice cream, so I asked the chef for an extra blob, server came back and told me the the chef said no, IF U WANT MORE PAY FOR MORE. So, I returned my pudding plate with only having had 2 bites in absolute shock that the chef didn't care that I actually wanted to enjoy my pudding I just needed a bit more cream. Overall really annoyed and never to return again, will also post this on my FB for locals to be aware of how rude management is at this venue.”

  “Was part of a large group that visited today, service was absolutely shocking… queued for ages as there was only 1 person at the bar! Food was disgusting, pizzas tasted like Tesco frozen pizza! Rest of food was lukewarm. Chocolate cake was nice but such a tiny portion for £6! Play area and toilets very dirty. Been coming here since I was a child so such a shame to see it go downhill.”

  “I had such a lovely time visiting the brewers fayer at the Hampton. The food was served quick and was lovely! Victoria working on the bar was lovely and helped me with ordering, even helping to save some money! It’s the perfect place for a nice meal with a hotel stay! Definitely recommend.”

  “Mixed grill and sirloin steak dish cooked to perfection. Cadbury sundae and lemon and raspberry semifreddo amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful. Thanks to Emma. Would highly recommend. Loads of parking too.”

  “The staff have been amazing I've been eating here for a week due to work commitments and all the staff have been so kind and helpful. I would like to thank Donna, Harry and Adam who have been so welcoming and kept everything going when the system went down. They have been so accommodating and made the environment so warm and friendly. The food has been amazing and comes out quickly and to a high standard. I would highly recommend here for anyone unsure of where to go and where to eat. A MASSIVE thank you to all of the staff here.”

  “We had a weekend booked at the Premiere Inn attached to the restaurant/bar. Myself and 4 friends ate and drank in the restaurant for the weekend and every meal was great, as it’s the Christmas season we opted for the seasonal menu where the prices were very reasonable for the food, all the dishes were well presented, good sized portions and very tasty. All the staff from the bar and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. We built a good rapport with them over the few days and thoroughly enjoyed their service. The team are a credit to the company and Lucy who I believe was managing the team was great. In all this weekend I reviewed was great and would be back again.”
