  “Drinks were ok, good for value. The place needs renovation. One of the bartender gave ‘did not bother’ attitude which lower the score. Pretty sad.”

  “Was pretty empty when I visited which was nice way to unwind on a Friday afternoon after work. Handy as a meeting point for those hopping on or off the Oxford Tube.”

  “Seating all ripped and tatty, member of staff was polite but disinterested, cocktail prices were good but no love was put in to making ours. Probably fine for students looking for cheap cocktails”

  “Now we went in at the start of the night (around 7pm) and it was busy but had a funny dead atmosphere. Staff were completely flat, the tables were wobbly and the drinks dear. Would try again but not in a hurry. Not the worst place but not great”

  “I went in on a Monday night. I was served by a fantastic, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable mixologist called Basmir. My friends and I had a variety of beverages which were all perfectly prepared and garnished with a free helping of charm and wit. The selection of gins, whiskys and whiskeys is worth a mention too. Apparently they even offer rooms. A fantastic place with friendly staff and I'd probably suggest able to create a cocktail to suit every palate. It has wonderful Irish style booths for a more intimate occasion. A short distance from the train station only adds to the appeal. I imagine this place on a weekend visit would be immensely satisfying. An experience I've yet to have... I highly recommend it. Seán McMullan”

  “Came here twice during my trip in Oxford, & was amazed with the wonderful atmosphere! Drinks were phenomenal, and the locals around were even friendly which helped the experience even more! I came in mostly to review the man who came and made things right for me during my experience. I came in on a Friday night in July, & as someone who has worked in customer service I expect these places to be busy. My drink order from a female bartender was wrong, and my experience with her wasn’t pleasant. The gentleman after came out to my group of friends & I and made it right immediately for me! Expressing gratitude in my honesty of how I felt in the experience, and making me feel even more welcomed & seen as a tourist. If I would’ve caught his name, I’d mention it, but he made the experience with his partner on the upper level bar! Both those men are fantastic at what they do! Give this place a shot, even if it’s just for a quick pint or mixed drink! I’ll be sure to be back my next time in Oxford 🍻”

  “Absolutely amazing service! Special thanks to Angelo who was an absolute star, helped us clean up a spill and gave me a replacement drink, made my birthday and saved the night from being a disaster!! Thank you so much!!   “Just happened to pop into OXO on a recent visit to Oxford, as it was across the road from where we had dinner. I'm so glad we did! It's beautiful, cosy feeling cocktail bar with beautiful ambience and atmosphere. The drinks were really good!”

  “Stumbled across this bar whilst making our way to dinner. Great modern cocktail bar with nice decor. Two bars are situated on different floors making the service quicker. Fantastic cocktail menu, lots of classics and new mixtures. It was happy hour early on Saturday evening so that was a bonus, drinks were £5, otherwise cocktails started at around the £8 mark. Good place for gatherings and tables can be reserved in advance. Great bar and I'll be returning.”
