  “Our visit started off really well. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the starters were excellent. We had the corn ribs and the boneless chicken bites, and both were full of flavour and a great way to start the meal. Unfortunately, the mains didn't quite live up to the same standard. We ordered the honey BBQ pork ribs and the honey BBQ pork belly bites. While the BBQ sauce was tasty, the meat wasn't as tender as we expected, and the flavour hadn't fully penetrated through to the bone, leaving parts of the ribs a little bland. The chips were also served cold, which was disappointing. Overall, it was a mixed experience. The atmosphere and starters were a real highlight, but the mains and sides let the meal down.”

  “A group of 3 of us went here for some food, and it was absolutely amazing. All of the food tasted insane, and the portion sizes were huge. 2 of us had a tray each and I would probably say one tray is enough for 2, with an extra side as well. Service was very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend anyone to visit here. Their stand in football in the Westgate shopping centre is also delicious, well worth a visit for a good lunch. Thank you very much and will certainly be back in future!”

  “Burnout BBQ came to my festival Honkytonk uk in the Cotswolds to feed over 150 hungry country music fans and they did not disappoint. Arrived on time and set up fast even in the rain. The food was incredible I will be going back to find them at all future events. Costs were fair and food portions were amazing and large. Staff were very friendly and in high spirits.”

  “We had such high hopes for this establishment after reading the reviews. We arrived for our booked table at 1.30pm on Good Friday, there was already a table of about 20 there celebrating some occasion so it was very noisy but we aren’t miserable killjoys & took our seats, it was surprising not to smell any food cooking or any smoke in the restaurant at all, we were given our menus and then a nice young girl took our order, she was polite and helpful and all was good. We waited an hour and our food finally arrived and didn’t look too bad at first glance. We went for a couple of trays - we had previously read in the reviews that the flavours can be very sweet and samey and so steered clear of the pulled pork and went for a couple of different beef trays and some ribs and pork belly bites as side orders(they were right, the honey bbq is extremely sweet but the it is honey bbq). The brisket which was supposed to be slices was just thin scraggly bits of brisket, it was tender and tasty but no visible smoke ring or smoke flavour, this surprised us after the claims of the low & slow style cooking, if you have ever seen any American bbq reviews on YouTube it was nothing like it at all, about an 8th of the normal thickness and that’s being generous. I have to say the ribs were the driest we have ever had, it almost tasted like they had been cooked at some point and then deep fried to warm them up and then smothered in sweet sauce, we ate 2 but didn’t want any more, same with the belly pork, so dry! The brisket burnt ends were probably the best thing although, once again was smothered in the same sweet sauce, the beef links sausage were just like the beef hot dogs from Costco, frozen over-cooked corn on the cob, just tasted watery with a bit of butter, pit beans or perhaps some mixed beans in a bit of bbq sauce, they definitely weren’t pit beans and then a bit of gloopy gravy and a small pot of coleslaw & copious amounts of fries. £87 - we had looked forward to this for so long - if you are thinking of going there to try some authentic smoked American bbq, save yourself a lot of money and don’t. Perhaps their burgers and chicken are good, who’s knows? We won’t be going back for another visit. We like to bbq at home and smoke meats but aren’t experts so thought we would try the real McCoy to see how it should be done and set the bar, how wrong could we be. You can see in the last picture how much we left, we took the meat home but the pork was beyond rescue and made some proper pit beans out of the left over brisket and added a few more ingredients. Nice girls/staff but that’s about it. Pretty awful toilet too & only 1 for the whole restaurant, with a broken seat and wee over the floor. It’s so disappointing when you save up for something like this and it is so sub par.”

  “Found this establishment via Google search after having a particularly strong want for BBQ. Immediately greeted and seated. The menu has some great options and while I wanted to try the brisket I went with the Texan BBQ pulled pork. Definitely not disappointed and it’s very filling. The slaw was delicious, too. Excellent flavor, supple, and generous in portions. Loved it.”

  “I ordered a takeaway. The food was delicious. There could have been more meat in the box, there were a lot of fries. The gravy ended up opening in the bag and spilling everywhere which was disappointing. I would still try again, but I think the sauce needs to be packaged better for takeaways.”

  “We had an excellent experience at this location! Prices are on point! Service was amazing! It was only a few members of staff but they were managing the whole place amazingly! Extremely kind! Food? Honestly, everything tastes so good! I highly recommend you visit, make sure you book in advance!”

  “Love this place! First time visiting and will definitely be going back. Mya who served us was great, friendly and bubbly. Food came out quickly and there was so much of it. Even had a takeaway box for the burnt ends which were too good to leave. Music playing was old school tunes that you just ended up singing a long too. Can you add just a bucket of ribs to your menu please as they were so yummy!! 😋 Great place, would definitely recommend to anyone. Looking forward to our next visit. 😁”
