Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often come for the self-serve wine: a card lets guests help themselves from the enomatic machines, and many say the format makes it easy to taste several wines instead of ordering the same one. Several call the range great and the value good for the quality, and fizz by the glass and bottles to take away also get a mention. Close behind is the staff, described as friendly and knowledgeable, with wine suggestions and local tips singled out. The cheese boards hit the spot for one diner, and pizza, bread and nibbles are noted as available. The venue is called cozy, quirky and convivial, with an outdoor terrace, and one reviewer describes people reading alone, playing board games and out on dates. The complaints are small: one found the rose not cool enough, though staff took it on board, one notes it is easy to spend a lot, and one found a busy Valentine's Day loud. One reviewer with knee issues had a server bring a wine down from the second floor.

“Great selection of wines, friendly staff and very good value for money considering the quality of the wines.”

“Very friendly and knowledgeable bartender, excellent range of wines on the enomatic machines plus quality fizz available by the glass. Accessed via a flight of fairly steep stairs with handrail, the main bar is on first floor with several tables indoors and an outdoor terrace seating area down a couple of steps, plus a further room and more wines on the second floor (I didn't visit but the nice server kindly brought me a wine from up there as I have knee issues). Overall I think this is one of the nicest wine bars I've been to in ages and will definitely be back!”

“My new favourite place in Nottingham. Beyond the great selection of wine, it's priced down to the ml. You cannot find better value for money. The atmosphere was lovely, we went on a sunny weekday so it was pretty quiet. Both the outside terrace and inside seating was clean and very pretty. Perfect for a good photo. Whilst originally I thought the idea of self-serve wine was gimmicky, the ability to taste many different ones without selling a kidney was great. They also sell by the bottle too. On top of all of this the staff was amazing. I don't know her name but whoever was working today was not only incredibly knowledgeable (with great suggestions) but very friendly too. We had a good 15 minute gab about drinking culture and fashion. It would be a great location for a first date, girls night or even a place to take your parents. Will definitely be going back.”

“This is the best kept secret in Nottingham city centre by a country mile. It's cozy, intimate, but not pretentious at the same time. Another? genuinely caters to everyone. On a busy night you'll see people alone reading, friends catching up over board games, and couples on dates. The staff are super friendly and personable. The concept is fantastic. The range of wine is great.”
