  “I had an amazing time at Giggling Squid West Bridgford. I went for a graduation meal and I definitely made the right choice. The food and drinks were great and the service was quick and attentive. I was pleasantly surprised to recieve a little graduation gift of chocolates after the meal too. I would deffo recommend this place for all types celebrations!”

  “The best Thai restaurant in Nottingham by far. We visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening for a well deserved dinner treat. Our waitress was extremely polite, and immediately escorted us to our table and took our drinks order. We started with the obligatory Thai Crackers, then went in for the sharing platter for 3 people. The quality, and taste of every piece was fabulous. Folling the starter my partner and daughter chose the drunken noodles (very delicious, but definitely more the 1 spicy star 😆), and I ootex for the Thai green curry (extra hot) with sticky rice - superb, and definitely hit the mark. Fabulous evening, and cant wait to go back again.”

  “We recently visited this branch for the first time as a family, and wow... what an incredible experience! 😍 I've eaten at this Thai restaurant before, but never at this location, and I have to say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything was spot on. 📍 The location is perfect, the restaurant is spacious with beautiful décor ✨, spotlessly clean (even the toilets! 🚻👏), and the staff were so warm, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. 😊💛 I was lucky enough to be dining with Morton, who knows the menu inside out, and his recommendations were absolutely fantastic! 🙌 We tried some starters I'd never had before, and every single one was delicious: 💰 Golden Money Bags – crispy and packed with flavour! 🍤 Zingy Prawns – fresh, vibrant, and full of zing! 🦑 Salt & Pepper Squid – hands down one of the best I've ever had! The batter was perfectly crispy while the squid stayed incredibly tender. 😍👌 For my main, I chose the Thai Green Curry with Egg Fried Rice 🍛🍚, and it was simply outstanding. The aromatic flavours were beautifully balanced, the curry was rich and fragrant, and the level of spice was absolutely perfect. 🌶️💚 Every mouthful was packed with authentic flavour. Of course, we couldn't leave without dessert! 🍰 We shared the Matcha Cheesecake 🍵, and it was unbelievably creamy, light, and the perfect way to finish an already amazing meal. 😋💚 I genuinely think the experience was made even more special because of the wonderful company. Having Morton there to guide us through the menu and recommend some of the restaurant's most popular dishes made all the difference. 🙏✨ A huge thank you as well to Poom who was serving us drinks, Sunny & Sam, serving our food 🍹Every member of the team was attentive, friendly, professional, and genuinely made us feel welcome throughout the evening. ❤️ The food, the service, the atmosphere, and the overall experience were all exceptional.   “Had a lovely dinner here recently. Such a great choice of options I wanted it all. Picked a sharer, red duck curry and a little dessert and it was all so delicious and homely. The staff were friendly and chatty too, especially Morton and Ellen. Thanks guys, see you again soon!”

  “Giggling squid is a lovely Thai restaurant with a beautiful interior and high quality cuisine. We loved the appetizer sampler and the duck confit. The sticky chicken was a touch chewy today for our liking but is still a fab dish - just might be better shared! The tom yum rice was the crowd favorite. The flavour is absolutely phenomenal - don’t miss out on trying this! Prices are a touch high but on par for the area! Worth visiting for a lovely meal.”

  “We recently visited Giggling Squid in West Bridgford for their weekday lunch deal and it was such a great experience. From Monday to Friday (12–3pm) you can get a Pad Thai (chicken, veggie or vegan) with a drink for just £12 — which is amazing value for the quality and portion size. The Pad Thai was fresh, flavourful and perfectly cooked, with that lovely balance of sweet, savoury and tangy that Thai food does so well. The portion was generous and definitely filling enough for a proper lunch. But had to order one of their mini desserts too. The restaurant itself had a lovely atmosphere — cosy and relaxed, even on a rainy afternoon — and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. Service was quick but we never felt rushed.”

  “We loved our food at Giggling Squid. It was our first time but we had heard good things about it. The service was fantastic, every staff member was super kind and friendly. The menus threw us off a bit as we weren’t sure what the major differences were between them, but that was a minor thing really. The food itself was lovely, well balanced, authentic, and delicious.”
