About Revolución de Cuba Nottingham
Revolución de Cuba Nottingham is a cocktail bar at 26-28 Market St in Nottingham, where guests can book a cocktail-making class that includes dinner. Brunch is bottomless with a 90-minute limit, and a premium option adds mojitos. The food side centres on tapas plates, including a combo of three, and margaritas are on the drinks list. A lunch menu runs earlier in the day, and happy hour follows it. Party and group bookings come with drinks packages, and a private dining room gives groups a space of their own. The bar opens Thursday to Sunday and is closed Monday to Wednesday. Payment is by card only.

Customer Review Summary
Bottomless brunch is the most common reason reviewers visit, and the servers earn the most praise, described as friendly and attentive, with drinks never empty. A cocktail making class with dinner is called fantastic by a hen party, and a parent says the party organiser and drinks packages made a daughter's 18th birthday run smoothly. Margaritas and a combo of three tapas plates get specific nods, and one reviewer suggests eating from the lunch menu, then waiting for happy hour. Food and brunch pacing draw the complaints. One diner describes soggy, cold loaded nachos, tasteless beer tacos, dry buttermilk chicken and dry patatas bravas, and calls the atmosphere flat with the lights up full and the TVs off. Two brunch guests report slow drinks, no mint for the mojitos, a limited menu, and a chicken quesadilla that came with no chicken in it. Even the most critical diner still called the waitress great.

“Currently here for my birthday. Came for a premium bottomless brunch. Only had the premium because of the mojitos, they had no mint. We had a drinks order taken. 22 minutes I waited for a mimosa and a rum punch. No food order taken and we only get 90 mins. The waiter offered to extend but no warning was given about wait times or anything. I wish I'd have gone somewhere else.”

“Went for bottomless brunch today. Paid £45 pound and honestly one of the worst we have been to. Limited menu, ordered the chicken quesadilla and they had no chicken in (see photo). Food very poor, speed of drinks was unbelievably slow. £45 for sub standard food, and got served 4 cocktails in the space of 90 minutes. Definitely would not recommend”

“Service is exceptional! The girls are so lovely and attentive the drinks came within a half a decent amount of time - food is meh and the fact that they are cashless is ridiculous but the service is great& would go again and take card lol z”

“We came back here as it was an old haunt of ours on a Sunday night a few years ago and loved it. We came back for an anniversary and were left extremely disappointed. Firstly, the waitress was great and very attentive, so this isn’t a reflection on her customer service skills. The food however, left a lot to be desired. There were a few bits missing off the menu due to running out but we still found things to order. The loaded nachos were typical shop purchased cheap chips with the usual toppings but were actually soft/soggy as if they’d been microwaved but were cold. The beer tacos were completely tasteless. I wouldn’t have been able to tell you what they were if you’d have asked. The buttermilk chicken was extremely dry and had clearly not been cooked fresh. No real flavour except grease.. The potatas Bravas had a small spoon of sauce on top and were also dry. The venue as well didn’t have the atmosphere it used to have due to the lights being up full, music not being themed to the restaurant and the TVs all turned off that used to show Mexican themed videos. Everything just felt soulless except the waitress’s service skills. Sadly, we won’t be returning after this as there are far greater tapas/Mexican places nearby in Hockley and West Bridgford that do amazing food at the same price point.”

“We did a cocktail making class which included dinner. Food was nice. But the cocktail making class was fantastic! Daisy was our host she was so good. We were on a rowdy hen do, and she handled everything like a pro. We all had a great time, because of her. Thank you, give her a pay rise!!😉”
