  “I came in at lunchtime. I ordered a sandwich to takeaway. I was told it would be 10 minutes. There were no other customers. After 20 minutes, I still didn’t have a sandwich and needed to leave to be able to get back to work on time. What bothered me the most was that the attitude of the chef when I told him I have to leave. He said my sandwich was ready and that I shouldn’t leave, and held up two empty slices of bread to prove it. I felt like I was being treated dishonestly. I’m now £9 poorer and didn’t get a sandwich.”

  “This is such a lovely little cafe!! The owner is soooo kind and sweet, he really made me feel welcome. The food is simple, honest, and very fairly priced. The food took a while to come but he let me know on ordering - it's because it's all made to order. I'll definitely be returning!”

  “Good atmosphere, lovely attentive staff, and yummy fresh food. Would come back here again. The Persian Saffron Chai is beautiful. I came here to sit and do some work, and its a good environment for this. There is a free 2 hour car park, which you can park in a short walk away. (Street parking is permit only). I got Halloumi Rice bowl, Persian Saffron Chai and Mango juice. Recommend! :)”

  “Unbelievably awesome!!! Such a standout quaint Cáfe in Long Eaton I so strongly encourage all to visit. Went in there today for the first time with my chica after she told me it’s been 3 years we’ve lived here but we haven’t given Avocado a shot. I was game and so we went and we loved the vibe of the place from the decoration to atmosphere and then we met a super cool young lady that served our table. The food is EPIC, sooo delicious. The salmon slices the best quality either of us have tasted from a lunch at any restaurant/Café. The Owner came at the end of our meal to ask us for any feedback which was lovely. We will definitely be returning and recommend Avocado Long Eaton *****”

  “Each time we come here we are greeted with friendly and attentive service, the menu isn’t huge but there’s something everyone would enjoy, the rice and salad bowls are particularly good, there’s always more different veg than you’d expect, it’s fun finding out there’s so much variety in a dish you’d expect to be so simple and it genuinely feels healthy to eat, we both feel much better after dining here unlike most restaurants which leave you feeling bloated and tired, the staff work so hard making each dish from scratch by hand so the wait time is nothing to complain about as it is always well worth it. The prices are criminally low, they charge far less than anywhere else we’ve been especially considering the quality of the food.”

  “Looking for something a bit different and healthier? My wife and I happened to trip across Avocado and we are really glad that we did. We a breakfast here today, my wife had Egg Royal (smashed avocado smoked salmon and organic eggs on toast at £7.50) and I had Nargesy (spinach and egg £5.90). Both were freshly prepared, well presented and very tasty. I had coffee (£2.40) which I also enjoyed. It was so good; we took a takeaway chicken curry with us; this was again freshly cooked and very good. The owners clearly take pride in their business and the food that they produce. We are looking forward to trying their lamb kebabs in the not too distant future. Thank you for a great experience.”

  “The first thing you notice is the very friendly staff. They help you choose and answer your questions patiently. We ordered 3 different chicken dishes. We all enjoyed our food. The chicken was very tasty and the vegetables were fresh. The halloumi was also very nice. Beautiful decoration and nice environment. You can easily park your car in the road opposite the café where you can park free for 2 hours.”
