“I’ve been here a few times for the shawarma, but today I discovered something that deserves far more attention… the hidden BBQ fish that’s not even on the menu. If you know, you know. The fish arrived butterflied and cooked over charcoal with a beautifully smoky aroma. The skin had that perfect char while the flesh stayed incredibly moist and flaky. Whatever marinade they use is outstanding. Rich, slightly spicy, with just the right balance of herbs and seasoning that lets the freshness of the fish shine through. A squeeze of lemon took it to another level. It came with fresh salad, pickled vegetables and warm Kurdish bread, making it a simple meal done exceptionally well. You can tell this isn’t mass produced food; it tastes like something cooked for family rather than customers. The staff were welcoming as always, and even though this dish isn’t advertised, they happily recommended it. If you’re visiting for the first time, the shawarma is excellent, but if you want to experience something special, ask for the BBQ fish. It deserves a permanent place on the menu. One of the best grilled BBQ fish dishes I’ve had in the UK. I’ll definitely be back!”

“Tried this place while visiting town, and it did not disappoint! The food was a 10/10—we had the Kurdish kebab and the shawarma platter, and the portion sizes were incredibly generous. They even served complimentary lamb soup, fresh naan, and traditional tea, which was a really nice touch. The service was exceptional. “The best food in Northampton. Only authentic recipes. If you want to feel the true taste of oriental food, here you can find it. The staff is very friendly. If you are Romanian and have difficulty asking in English what you want, they also speak Romanian. :) 5 ⭐️ for the entire staff, but ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Hedi!”
