Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the coffee, from a double espresso to a lovely or excellent cup, usually enjoyed on a break from the A9. Close behind are the food options: sandwiches and pastries, a banana chocolate loaf, porridge with peanut butter and banana, and a large slice of Victoria sponge. A vegan sandwich, plenty of cake and non dairy milk choices also draw praise. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and helpful, and several mention the free car park, the toilets and sockets for charging devices. One reviewer notes the busy pace from regular coach stops. The main complaint comes from a dog walker who was told no dogs are allowed in the cafe, then sent to the balcony, then told to leave the dog at the door to come in and order. The reviewer accepted the rule but objected to the abrupt, confusing handling. Others praise the real dishes instead of plastic cups, with a sandwich and a coffee on the table.

“Helpful friendly staff, £6.80 for a tea and victoria sponge, large slice. Free car park, with a gift shop and toilets. Normally have to pay for toilets but on this occasion they were free.”

“Highly recommended coffee shop right on the A9. With a generously sized parking lot. The coffee shop is one floor up. Very friendly staff, tasty sandwiches and pastries, for dine-in and takeout. They serve on real dishes here, not plastic cups. The restrooms are downstairs and very clean. All in all, a really nice spot and worth a stop.”

“A great stop off on the main route, a good car park and a separate area for Motorhomes and caravans. Coffee was excellent with either cafe seating or picnic benches.”
