“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a fantastic meal at Wargrave Hacienda and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for great Mexican food in the area. We booked online, but unfortunately there was an issue with the booking system so our reservation hadn’t reached the restaurant. The owner couldn’t have handled it better—he apologised, asked if we could wait around 20 minutes, and made sure we were looked after. It was refreshing to see such great customer service when something outside their control had gone wrong. The food was excellent. I had the Mixiote Beef Burrito, which was absolutely brilliant—packed with flavour and one of the best burritos I’ve had in a long time. My wife has food allergies, and the staff were fantastic in making sure she was looked after. She had the chicken tacos with fries and Mexican rice, and really enjoyed them. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed, making it a lovely place to spend an evening. We also took our daughter, and it was great to see they had high chairs available and a play area outside, which made it a genuinely family-friendly place to eat. A well-deserved 5 stars. Great food, excellent service, and we’ll definitely be back.”

“As a Mexican, I’m always looking for authentic flavors that remind me of home. Yesterday, I was driving nearby and decided to give this place a try, and what a wonderful surprise it was. The food brought back all the flavors of Mexico, everything very authentic and fresh. The portions were perfect, the service was amazing, and the chef was such a kind and amicable person. I had the birria and wow… absolutely delicious. I also loved the enchiladas and will definitely be coming back for them. Highly recommended if you’re looking for real Mexican flavor and warm hospitality.”
