  “Ordered a delivery at 7pm Waiting until half 8 as still no sign Told it was out for delivery I live withing 10 mins still no sign of food after a 2 hr wait I cancelled and the food arrived to my door Won't be ordering another delivery again”

  “The hostess seat us and we waited 20 minutes and had to get up and ask for a server to come and take our order And when the waiter finally came over, he took our order with a sharpie and a piece of paper from the till, we ordered appetizers then our entrées and some milkshakes also, everything came together and had to remind him 15 minutes into our meal about the milkshake The milkshakes were the children’s desserts. Unacceptable.”

  “I went for food this evening and it was at 10/10 experience! The staff were so nice and friendly this young boy with ginger hair was so funny and lovely to us all ! The food was great ! I enjoyed every bit of it !! They did forget to bring our chips out but they were so apologetic about it and they seem so sincere my friends and I had a great experience!! Lovely time do recommend to all !”

  “I have been having LDVs for about 20 years but I’ve never experienced issues like the one at the restaurant on a Thursday late afternoon. Only 2 young staff on as wait staff. They were clearly overwhelmed with all the secondary school kids arriving in. There was a queue at the door which we weren’t anticipating - we went early to avoid this issue. I asked they’d consider letting my 38 week pregnant sister skip the queue given she was heavily pregnant. They said no - which shocked me and in my opinion highlights immaturity, lack of common sense and a lack of training. They said they best they could do was give her a seat so they took her round to seats in the takeaway side and promptly forgot about us so we had to rejoin the main queue and stand anyway. A chef made a smart comment about the risk of taking members of the public through the staff area - this was not our doing, we followed the waiter through this area as instructed. We waited almost an hour to be seated - and we had arrived at 4pm so off peak time. The female staff member on that afternoon was also a bit rude to us at one point. We were eventually seated and had to chase staff down for everything: - To order - 3 times for some tap water and glasses - They didn’t bring my sister’s food over either, I had to point to the pizza in the kitchen and ask them to check if it was hers When we checked the bill after leaving, we were also charged for something we didn’t order so had to return for a refund Eventually more staff came on at 5pm but it was too late. Also a strange move removing so many tables from the restaurant when the demand is still there The food was nice as always which makes the experience more frustrating”

  “Pizza express,Pizza Hut and all the other overpriced chains out there look to these guy because this is how it is done, This is by far the best quality,best staff,best Italian restaurant in the country. The quality of food was outstanding,the portion sizes were way above the stupid small overpriced portions in pizza express.we were made feel welcome from the moment we entered to the moment we left,the pictures speak for themselves,stay away from the overpriced ignorant pizza express chains come to La Dolce you will be in no way disappointed,well worth the 45min drive we will definitely be back.”

  “La Dolce Vita has encapsulated the very modern eating experience with Italian flair. Inside the decor is fresh and trendy with an open plan kitchen and traditional wood fired oven. The menu is simplistic yet with enough variety, especially with pizza choice, to satisfy. Definatly worth a visit for lunch or evening meal.”

  “Really good portions. Sharing platter to start was lovely with wings, mushrooms and ribs. The selection of sauces was really good. Had burger and pizza to share between two. Was also very nice. Decent food at decent value. A lot of families and kids there, I'd imagine it's great for that sort of thing, something for everyone, at all ages.”
