Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often praise the curries, with the green curry, duck curry, lamb curry from the specials board and a tender beef massaman all singled out, while Singapore noodles and pineapple fried rice come up as well. Several describe the food as fresh and real Thai in taste, and prices are called reasonable. Service is described as quick, and one reviewer notes the chef let a group order right before lunch closing. Some mention the place being very busy, and one says it got very loud. The complaints are specific. One takeaway penang curry meant for two arrived as a half portion with cubed chicken and two tiny pieces of pepper. Another reviewer found the pho closer to a Chinese beef noodle soup, and a stir fry had hardly any sauce and tasteless tofu. A solo diner felt rushed after being told the table had to be finished by 8, though the food itself was great. One reviewer found the pad Thai a bit sweet.

“Had a fantastic late lunch here with friends! The prices are incredibly reasonable, making it a great spot for a casual get-together. They have an excellent specials board, and I highly recommend the lamb curry—it was absolutely delicious and packed with flavour. Great food, good value, and a lovely atmosphere for catching up.”

“I enjoyed the food and the rest of the service but what I did not appreciate is when I came in and asked if I can have a table for 1 (just me obviously) the male server (he was the only one on shift) immediately told me I can have the table for two but I have to finish my meal by 8 because he needs the table back. It was 18:30 in the evening and I haven't even sat down. The only reason I would have stayed longer is if their food service was slow which was not. I felt rushed from the moment I asked for a table. I finished my meal 19:07 constantly worried I will be asked to leave. Food was great, rest of the service was better but again did not appreciate feeling like I'm not really welcome to have my meal.”

“We was in newmarket for 2 nights and found this Great Thai resturant. Great food and staff. Very busy but they managed to fit us in.”
  • Aurelia Liu
“We had a good dinner but unfortunately, the vietnamese pho I ordered was more akin to a chinese beef noodle soup than pho. The pineapple fried rice was flavorful and well cooked, though.”
