About Mangiare Ristorante Italiano
Mangiare Ristorante Italiano is an Italian restaurant in Newmarket, on Exeter Rd. The kitchen makes its pasta dishes in house, bakes pizza in a stone oven, and cooks from a grill, with lamb and traditional meat and fish dishes on the menu alongside calamari. Seadas Sarda, a Sardinian cheese dessert, is on the dessert menu and closes the meal for anyone who wants something beyond the usual sweets. The drinks list includes a limoncello spritz to go with the food. Meals are served at the table by the waiting staff.

Customer Review Summary
Diners most often single out the pasta, described as homemade with sublime sauce combinations and cooked to perfection. Pizza and lamb come up close behind, with one table of five each ordering a different dish and loving every bite. The Seadas Sarda is called a delicious dessert. Staff draw nearly as much praise as the food, with servers described as attentive, friendly and polite, and service called swift even on a busy New Year's Eve. Reviewers also mention generous portions, a varied menu, and comfortable seating including outdoors. The one complaint is value. A reviewer found the calamari not worth the price, calling it eight small rings that seemed poured from a bag and fried, and said a limoncello spritz was finished in about four sips, with drinks a little pricey overall. That same reviewer still called the rest of the food good. Another table had a daughter's birthday made extra special by their waiter.

“We came for the first time last night, fantastic service, amazing food, and a friendly atmosphere. Alex was our waiter and he was the best! Made our daughters birthday extra special, was extremely attentive, friendly and chatty, gave excellent recommendations and was just a real pleasure. The food was incredible, 5 of us had all different dishes (lamb, pizza, pastas etc) and each of us loved every bite! We can’t wait to come back! Thank you!”

“The food is good, but it's a little pricey for what it is. The calamari isn't worth the price. It seems like it's poured out of a bag and fried, and you get 8 little rings. The rest of what we ordered was good. No complaints but nothing was amazing. The drinks are good, but again, a little pricey for what you get. I got a limoncello sprits and it was about 4 sips to finish it. The best part of the experience was the staff. Everyone is helpful and polite. Our server was attentive and helpful.”
