  “We live in Lancashire, and we can’t find a chippy to beat Milehouse. Amazing food, I love the fish, the batter is superb, the fish is thick and tasty. Portion sizes are double compared to chippy’s in our area. We tell all our friends to visit if they are travelling nearby. Andy the owner is so passionate about everything he makes and the serving staff are fun and friendly, big shout out to Jodie who said she’s worked there for over 30 years. You must try it.!! You will not be disappointed.”

  “As newcomers to the area we'd tried elsewhere and found it wanting. So we asked a few others and they all recommended 'The Milehouse' well it certainly lived up to its reputation. Great food at great price, served by friendly staff with a smile. Only have one small critique. Sorry but didn't get on well with the bright green mushy peas. They were so bright green it put me off, plus they were very salty. Will definitely visit again, leaving out the mushy peas 😁”
