About Villa Vinci
Villa Vinci is an Italian restaurant at 31 Main St in Newcastle, serving Italian and Mediterranean cooking that spans seafood, steaks and pizza. A live band plays on weekends from 8pm, so evening diners get music alongside the meal. The pizza list includes a pepperoni pizza and a vegan-cheese option, and the kitchen also prepares baked salmon served with champ and broccoli. The team accommodates dietary needs, including vegan and coeliac requests, so guests with those requirements can ask about adjustments when ordering. Desserts include a raspberry ruffle cheesecake.

Customer Review Summary
Pizza is what diners mention most, with praise for the crust and sauce, a vegan cheese version, and a pepperoni that one reviewer called plentiful. Close behind is the baked salmon, which one diner had with champ and broccoli and another called a perfect portion. Carbonara, fried Brie, crispy wings and customised garlic bread with onion also get singled out. Two reviewers note the kitchen accommodated dietary needs, vegan and coeliac, though one says this is not clear on the menu. Staff are described as friendly, helpful and on the ball even when the room is packed. One reviewer calls the weekend live music a favourite and suggests checking the schedule when booking. On the downside, one diner was glad to sit away from the noise of the main restaurant area, another found the service efficient but lacking warmth and the food decent rather than memorable, and a bottle of wine struck one couple as a little pricey. One group short on time for dessert took the raspberry ruffle cheesecake with them.

“A family of 4, visited yesterday for lunch, we had the baked salmon with sides & garlic bread. The salmon portion is perfect and tasty. I am sure we will revisit them.”

“Went with my husband it was very busy but the staff were on the ball. I got the salmon with champ and broccoli which was delicious, Salmon cooked perfectly. My husband had the pepperoni pizza which he also said was delicious and plentiful. We had a bottle of wine which at £30 was a little pricey but it was a nice white which we both enjoyed. We would definitely return next time in Newcastle.”

“Really excellent food and fabulous service. We were glad to be to the side of the main restaurant area because of the level of noise there.”

“Managed to get a table in this very busy but efficiently run restaurant. None of the waiting staff seemed rushed or under pressure and the place was packed but not uncomfortable. Our food from starters to desserts was excellent and not too pricey. My wife is coeliac and they easily accommodated her. Would highly recommend this restaurant 👌”

“I have been to Villa vinci a few times now, with different groups. We have all always loved it. There food is amazing, they will change there food for diets/needs, this isnt clear on the menu but the staff are very helpful. The most recent, I had pizza with vegan cheese, omg the pizza is so good, such a great base and sauce. I have had the pasta too and its delicious. The service is incredible too, so friendly and helpful. But I have to say, my favourite part is the live music/band, i think its weekends from 8pm, but check when you book. Its just such a great atmosphere, everyone is singing, its just so much fun.”
