“Went to this chippy in parkgate today for the fish chips and was shocked at the price and the cleaning well i dont think it has been cleaned for a long time on the seat there was that much old food and dead flies,tables were full of rubbish the bins were over flowing not been empty for a couple of days. I dont mind paying £25 for fish chips curry and fish on own but owners get a grip on cleaning if thats what front of house is like god knows what the kitchen is like”

“Best fish and chips!! Parkgate fish & chip shop is mainly a take away, however there are a few tables in the shop. We have visited many times. It is usual to queue, ( the queue moves rapidly)as this is a popular well known destination. We arrived mid afternoon ( between lunch and tea time rush). It was quiet, so we got a table in the cafe, with views across the River Dee ( marshland ). The menu offers fish and chips, pies, sausage and Street food. We had fish & chips with mushy peas. All cooked fresh and tasting delicious. Staff are efficient and usually too busy to chat. I thanked the lady serving for the amazing fish and chips. She was very friendly. It is a must if you love quality, fresh fish and chips. Busy times be prepared to wait!”
