  “Best avoided. Absolutely inedible jacket potato, tasted as if it had been reheated half a dozen times and egg mayo filling was very bland. My friend also left their lunch unfinished. No staff asked if everything was ok and the whole atmosphere felt very conveyer belt. Used to be a great lunch spot but now seems to be more concerned with turnover rather than quality.”

  “Very good quality food, perfectly cooked, good portion size. Staff polite and friendly, cosy atmosphere. Good price for 2 full Breakfasts and Coffee. Toilets immaculate. Would 100% Recommend.”

  “Would recommend the breakfast rolls. Was too late for full breakfasts but you could get all the items that were on the breakfast on the rolls, strange really, why not just do an all day breakfast. Price was very good and would go again. 👍”

  “The service at Rumblin’ Tum is always great, the staff really care that you get exactly the food and drink that you want. I’m not vegan, but I find it so helpful to have a local place that I know will have delicious options for my vegan / food allergy friends and family. I usually order a salad - they will make one with coronation chicken, off menu, if you ask. Pots of tea come with a pot of hot water for top ups, that’s a sign of a good cafe ✔️😊 I often get a sweet treat in a take-away box for mid-afternoon. I had the blueberry and lemon slice yesterday. So good!”

  “We booked a table the night before our visit for five adults and two well-behaved dogs. The menu was extensive and the quality of what we all had was excellent. Big shout out to the lady who took our order who was extremely efficient, friendly and polite. An excellent venue to visit if you have a dog. There were quite a few locals eating there too, which is always a good sign.”

  “The food is nice, and made well. The service, however, was extremely slow. They do cater for gluten free, but were not sure which fillings were gluten free, so opted for cheese to be safe. Satisfactory experience.”

  “Stopping in Moffat for a break on the way from Edinburgh to England, and decided to have lunch at this establishment. Food we had were great, hot and freshly cooked. Had to wait a little but the place was packed when we got in. Good value for money and definitely give a go if you are in town.”
