About PizzaExpress
PizzaExpress is a pizza restaurant in Milton Keynes, at Unit 5 in MK1 Leisure Park. The kitchen runs a vegan menu, and vegan cheese can go on a pizza alongside meat. Dairy-free garlic bread sits on the menu next to the dough balls and the margherita. A braille menu is available for guests who read braille. Dogs are welcome too, so a four-legged companion can come along for the meal.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the staff, with servers described as wonderful, patient and welcoming, especially toward families. One server signed to a diner's daughter, another had part of a salad changed and customised to a wife's palate, and a third gave a dessert recommendation that was spot on. Close behind is the food, with dough balls, a veggie pizza and a margherita called quality, and pizzas cooked as requested and served very quickly even when busy. Dairy free diners praise the vegan cheese, which can share a pizza with meat, and the dairy free garlic bread. Parents say kids could sit and draw and felt welcome. The main complaint is a Father's Day visit with no decorations or special menu, where staff said the day was not significant enough to acknowledge, yet discount vouchers were refused because it was Father's Day. For a party of six with a wheelchair user, staff set up a table and space to make everyone comfortable.

“Pizza is pizza, however great service can be an exception. I was served by Stacie tonight who was fantastic, charming, funny and her recommendation for desert was spot on 😁 A quick message for my lovely server, safe ✔️ and the fridge ✔️ 😊😀”

“The food was great as usual. The staff are wonderful especially Bogdan who served us. We were there for my daughter's birthday”

“Very disappointing Father’s Day experience despite the food tasting on point. There was no recognition of Father’s Day whatsoever. No decorations, no special menu, and nothing to suggest it was being treated as a special occasion. When I asked staff about this, I was told that they do not consider Father’s Day a significant enough celebration to acknowledge. However, when it came time to pay, I presented discount vouchers and was informed that they could not be used because it was Father’s Day. This seems completely contradictory. If Father’s Day is not important enough to warrant any effort or celebration from the restaurant, then why is it important enough to exclude customers from using promotional vouchers? You cannot have it both ways. Either Father’s Day is a recognised special occasion or it isn’t. The inconsistent approach left a very poor impression and made what should have been a family celebration feel like a cynical attempt to maximise revenue”

“Really lovely new pizza options. Top quality ingredients. Hospitality was superb. Special mention to Ana, waiting our table. She was a burst of fresh energy and really attended to us. She even got part of our salad changed and customised to my wife’s palate.”

“Been twice now with friends and the kids. We had a deal so that helped keep costs down. Seated near the service area and the kids felt like they could sit and draw and we were relaxed as they weren't watched like a hawk like some dine in places. Really gave the kid friendly vibe and the team were great at making them feel welcome. We was a big table with 3 families dining that day. The 2nd visit was just us and another family and we were rushed as we had cinema tickets. Again the team understood and dispatched our meals to us promptly. Highly recommend this venue.”
