About Cluck'd Milton Keynes
Cluck'd Milton Keynes is a chicken restaurant in Milton Keynes, on Lloyds Court, where guests place orders at a self-service screen instead of queuing at a counter. Wings are the centre of the menu. They come with gloves and in a medium kick or other flavours, including Tingling. The Nashville burger sits alongside a fried chicken burger, and the mac and cheese bites come with a spicy jam. Truffle parmesan fries and milkshakes round out the sides and drinks. All the food is halal, and the drink is refillable.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the wings, describing them as juicy enough that they needed no sauce, with the medium kick wings and the Tingling flavour named as choices. Close behind are the mac and cheese bites with their spicy jam, the Nashville burger, the fried chicken burger and the truffle parmesan fries. Many mention friendly, attentive staff, a clean dining room and ordering on the screens, and one reviewer notes the halal food and the free sauces. Several say food arrived quickly and hot, even on a busy Saturday night. The main complaint comes from one detailed review of the Rice "N" Shine Box, which arrived with the sauce poured over the top instead of the drizzle the menu describes, leaving the whole box swamped in chilli heat. The same reviewer found the paid comeback and tangy garlic sauces tasting of vinegar and binned both, though the milkshake and truffle fries were liked. Another reviewer finished with wings that arrived with gloves so eating was less messy.

“To start, the Milkshake and truffle parmesan fries were very nice. Though, that’s where the positives unfortunately abruptly ended for me. Now to the negatives, the chicken and rice box (Rice "N" Shine Box) was pathetic. Look at my picture so you can see... why did the the "chef" feel the need to literally drown it in a swimming pool of sauce??? Its says on the menu a "Drizzle" and the other one was supposed to come separately as part of the meal, yet the "chef" had other ideas clearly and dumped a jug of them both all on top. The entire taste of the box was ruined as a result, it was like a massive heat bomb due to the ridiculous amount of chilli sauce they put on top that filled the whole box with liquid, it was dreadful and also ended up messing up my stomach for the next 24 hours after consuming what i could of that mess. The people making the food really have zero clue how to make the food as its supposed to come, as written on the menu. The side sauces which i paid extra for, the comeback sauce and the tangy garlic sauce were also horrible, there is writing on them saying they are made in house fresh daily but they literally tasted like chemicals with loads of vinegar added, both went straight into the bin. If these are actually being made daily then the chef needs to learn to make sauces correctly as they were awful. What makes me feel a bit better is at least i did not pay full price for this due to delivery app discount, so that makes me less annoyed about what i got, as 50% of it was good and the other 50% was vile as i explained. You cant serve someone the main part of their meal that badly, its just inexcusable. I understand there are two other branches, one in Norwich and one in Leicester. I saw the ricebox from those other outlets and looks nothing like what i got given based on photos i have seen online, so clearly the chefs/management at the MK branch don’t know what they are doing. The people from the other established branches need to come and correctly train them on how to make the food correctly or if they are incapable of learning, have them remove those items from the menu if you cant represent the brand properly. Its a shame because i really always like supporting smaller businesses over big name franchises and this was on my radar for some time to try it. However after my really negative first experience here i can say undoubtedly never again will i go here and highly advise you to not waste your money on this either!”
