About Lodge Farm Cafe

Beside a small lake on a business park at Unit 48 in Milton Keynes, Lodge Farm Cafe sits off the beaten track near the Ouse Valley walking path and bridge, which makes it a stop walkers can finish a countryside route at. Dogs are welcome, and owners bring them in alongside them. Breakfast anchors the short menu of seven dishes, including a Gluten Free Full English Breakfast, Scrambled Eggs and a breakfast wrap. Sandwiches come on freshly baked baguettes, with fillings such as coronation chicken, and a Pulled Pork Sandwich and Flat White pairs the two together. Coffee is a mainstay, from black coffee and flat whites to an Iced Coffee, with other hot drinks alongside. A Beef Burger rounds out the savoury side. Inside is small, with only a handful of tables, and orders are taken on a walk-in basis. The cafe opens daily during the daytime.

Customer Review Summary

Coffee draws the most praise here, from a flat white described as spot on to a black coffee one reviewer calls lovely, with others calling it delicious or good. Close behind is the food: coronation chicken on a freshly baked baguette, a breakfast wrap, and the evening burger nights, which one reviewer rates among the best burgers they have tasted. Reviewers describe a quiet, out of the way setting beside a small lake, friendly staff, and a good choice of food and drink for kids. Several suit it to a relaxed breakfast after a countryside walk. The caveats are mixed. One reviewer arrived to find the cafe shut, with a note on the door that referred to the previous week. Another calls it slightly pricey, and one notes only a handful of tables inside, though another sat outside by the lake. Dog owners mention a friendly reception and a pup cup that kept a dog busy through breakfast.

“It's a bit out of the way but was definately worth the visit. I had coronation chicken on a freshly baked baguette. The whole thing was very tasty and was clear it's pretty good qualify ingredients. My black coffee was lovely as well and I drink it black without sugar so it's only the coffee I taste. Sat outside next to a small lake. Was a very pleasent lunch. And lunch for 2 was £16 so very good value, especially considering the quality of ingredients. I will definately be back.”

“A lovely quiet setting hidden away off the beat and track. Coffee was really nice, I had my go-to flat white and it was spot on. The breakfast wrap was particularly good too. Great selection of food and drink for kids, and whilst I didn't indulge, the cakes looked delicious.”
  • Alison Andrew
“Fabulous breakfast with my dog. Love it when places ar dog friendly. Food came out piping hot and tasty, delicious coffee, and a 'pup cup' that kept my 4 legged companion busy while I ate. Great food, great place, great price”
