  “We went for breakfast at 9am. On arriving we were greeted by a lovely woman, Rebecca (team leader) she was so jolly and friendly, exactly what was needed in the morning. The food was nice, nothing was burned or over cooked it was good. I would recommend coming here”

  “Really nice venue. School holidays, really busy so took longer than usual queuing. Carvery delicious, the beef which can sometimes be very tough at Toby Carverys was very tender and just pulled apart. Learnt a lot from watching a young man, probably about 12 years old, load his plate. All I can say is genius. Turned one Yorkshire into a pot for peas and then filled it with extra gravy. The other Yorkshire he tore apart and interlaced it around the edges of the plate to create a bowl effect and then filled with more items and even more gravy. This young man is destined for greatness lol”

  “Called in without a booking. The manager made every effort to arrange a table for five of us. Food was very good (carvery) and service via Lucinda was excellent. Recommend for quality and value.”

  “Visited recently due to working nearby and staying for the week, was nice and quiet in the restaurant but it was pleasant enough. The meats were mostly ok, didn’t have a fantastic cut of beef as it was quite chewy but I feel this is more down to luck of the cut. Staff very friendly and fairly priced”

  “We're coming to eat here on a weekly basis. Staff, waitresses, bartender excellent, friendly and great. However, the meat portion is smaller and smaller, I don't think you get 160g as advertised, per a standard portion. So today I had to ask if I can get a bit more beef, and he barely sliced like 20g. Honestly, next time be prepared as I'm going to ask for my meat to be weighed on a scale. If you're advertising something at least respect your ad.”

  “We recently visited Toby Carvery at Marton and unfortunately the food wasn't up to the usual standard. The vegetables were quite hard, which was disappointing. However, I have to say that Lucinda completely made up for it with her outstanding customer service. She was friendly, welcoming, attentive, and couldn't do enough for us. She checked in regularly, had a lovely attitude throughout, and made us feel genuinely valued as customers. Although the food let the visit down, Lucinda's excellent service deserves to be recognised. She's a real credit to the Marton Toby Carvery team.”

  “I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this place. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right for me. I asked for my steamed vegetables without butter—not because of an allergy, I just don't like it—and they happily accommodated my request without any fuss. The service was friendly, attentive, and nothing seemed too much trouble. It's little touches like this that make such a big difference. Thank you to everyone for making my visit so enjoyable. I'll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and excellent customer service! Ann Rodger x”
