  “Jasmine House has firmly established itself as one of the best places to enjoy Chinese, Malaysian and Thai cuisine in Melton Mowbray, and after our recent visit it’s easy to understand why it has such an excellent reputation. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome by the friendly and attentive staff. Despite the restaurant being busy, the service never felt rushed. The team were professional, courteous and always nearby when needed, creating a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. The menu offers an impressive selection of dishes, making it difficult to choose. Every course we ordered arrived freshly cooked, beautifully presented and served piping hot. The ingredients tasted fresh, the portions were generous and each dish was packed with flavour. It was clear that great care had gone into both the preparation and presentation of the food. Whether you enjoy traditional Chinese favourites or something with Malaysian or Thai influences, there is plenty of choice to suit every taste. The restaurant itself is clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated, creating a welcoming atmosphere that is ideal for everything from a family meal to a special occasion. Even with a steady flow of diners and takeaway collections, the staff remained calm, organised and attentive throughout the evening. What stood out most was the consistency of the whole experience. Excellent food, genuine hospitality and good value for money combine to make Jasmine House somewhere you will want to return to. It is easy to see why so many local people recommend it, and why visitors to Melton Mowbray often speak so highly of it. Jasmine House has built a strong reputation for quality food and friendly service over many years, and our visit certainly lived up to those expectations. If you’re looking for one of the finest Chinese restaurants in the area, whether for a sit-down meal or a takeaway, Jasmine House is well worth a visit. We left thoroughly satisfied and are already looking forward to returning.”

  “Again despite being a Saturday night and the restaurant being extremely busy, telcon to friendly staff who booked food with the only caveat that would be 1/2 hours as so busy - not a problem. On arrival food as always boxed, hot and ready for collection, lady polite, efficient and even rushed to hold door open. NB did notice that every one in the very full restaurant looked very happy, even the half dozen who were waiting (made a mental note to book seats eating in and if its likely to be a busy time). The food itself was in good quantity, well cooked, very reasonably priced and as usual is out favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. Well worth you trying it.”

  “What a great little restaurant. Food was really good. Best hot and sour soup my husband has ever eaten. There was a small problem with my meal which was quickly rectified with no iissues. Staff very friendly and helpful.”

  “Jasmine House has to be the best Chinese in Melton and beyond. Recommended to us by friends, we had to try. So popular you have to book in advance. The dishes were all tasty and perfect. Fast, friendly service and atmosphere, excellent menu, veggies/vegans catered for, fine selection of wines & beverages and excellent value for money huge portions. We had plenty of leftovers the staff kindly boxes up that we were able to take away. I promise, if you haven't tried Jasmine House yet, you really need to visit. It's definitely 1000/1000 from me and the wife and we sincerely look forward too visiting again real soon.”

  “I’ve lived in melton all my life and I can’t believe I’ve never had a sit down meal in Jasmine House. It was wonderful, the service was great - very friendly, chatty owners. The food was lovely, I really enjoyed it. Pineapple fried rice was delicious. 10/10. Will definitely be back. Thank you Jasmine House.”

  “We were in the area and thought we'd just nip in on the off chance luckily we got the last table for 2... wow what can I say salt and chilli spare ribs were superb along with chicken won ton to start with was banging! Our mains were fillet steak in black pepper sauce, crispy chilli beef and egg fried rice we would definitely recommend this restaurant and if were passing we will definitely come back”
