Quick info
About Mori Mori
Mori Mori is a Japanese restaurant in Margate, run from a small café space at 80 Northdown Rd with a Japanese-style atmosphere. The kitchen makes its gyozas by hand and also serves a beef brisket okonomiyaki pancake, so the menu pairs a handmade dumpling with a griddled savoury pancake. The chef comes out to the table. The team accommodates gluten-free and dairy-free diets for guests who need them. Dogs are welcome, so guests can bring their pet along when they eat there.

“Lovely spot in Margate with Japanese vibes. The staff were very friendly. We tried the handmade gyozas and the beef brisket pancake. The gyozas were tasty, though four pieces for around £9 felt a little small - five would be perfect. The pancake was cooked well, but the brisket was just a touch dry and needed a bit more flavor. Overall, still a nice meal and a lovely atmosphere. Thank you”

“So good I had to come back 2 days later - the beef brisket okonomoyaki is one of the tastiest things I've eaten in months!”

“The café is quite small, and the seating wasn't very comfortable. We had to wait a long time for our food, which was a bit disappointing. Although the food was tasty, I felt it was overpriced for what was served(very small portion). The highlight of our visit was the friendly and funny gentleman who served us - 3star for his excellent customer service. Honestly I didn't enjoy the visit as much as I had hoped.”
