About The Forest Brewery
Set within a crafts and arts market on the Lydney Park Estate, The Forest Brewery is a brewery and taproom where the beer is brewed on site and poured a few steps from where it is made. Dew Drop pale ale sits alongside other house beers whose names reference the local area, among them Tree Hugger, Shredded and Severn Boar, and guest beers and ciders from nearby producers fill out the taps. The bar also pours wines, including organic bottles, spirits and alcohol-free options, and a food outlet on the site sells burgers and fries. Cans and bottles are available for drinkers who want to buy beer to take home. Seating runs both indoors and outside in the market. The taproom works on a walk-in basis and opens Wednesday to Sunday, closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Quiz nights are held at the venue.

“Visited Forest Brewery for the first time with some friends who were in town, and we were genuinely blown away. The choice of local beers and ciders was exceptional — so much variety, and everything we tried was full of flavour. Some good alcohol free choices too! And the burgers… honestly the best we’ve tasted. Fresh, juicy, and absolutely packed with taste. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and it made for the perfect spot to show off a bit of local charm to our visitors. We’ll definitely be back.”
