“Pret A Manger UK is a very popular chain for coffee, breakfast and a quick lunch, with a strong presence in London and in major transit locations such as stations and airports. It is a convenient choice if you want something ready, fast and with a good variety. But Pret is not only this. All the food is freshly prepared every day in the kitchens of each individual shop, and everything that is not sold is donated to charity. This not only does great credit to the Pret group, but it is simply wonderful, and many others should do exactly the same. The first Pret shop opened in 1986, and in 1995 the Pret Foundation was launched, a global organisation that helps relieve poverty and tries to help reduce the suffering of people who have neither a family nor a home. Every time you enjoy a good coffee or cappuccino, you are helping someone who has less than you. The coffee is 100% organic and carefully monitored throughout the entire production chain, in order to offer customers a high quality product. The staff are very kind and always helpful. There are plenty of tables and chairs available, making the wait at the airport much more comfortable. This Pret is located inside Luton Airport, near Departures. The toilets are very close and convenient. Absolutely recommended.”
