  “Lovely food, weird the staff insisted on putting sauce on herself even though I wanted to do it. Dropped a tonne of sauce and ruined my meal. Just found it strange she wouldn’t let me hold the bottle.”

  “Overpriced and so stingy in here. burger has the tiniest sauce on it as if you scraped it on with a butter knife. Rude as well don’t even bother go chicken spot up the road”

  “Ordered via Uber Eats. Two portions of chips one saveloy and one sausage in batter. The most disgusting chips I have ever had the displeasure of eating. Do you practice making them so awful? I don’t understand how you can ruin a chip so badly. It’s fried potato, it should have been greasy and delicious. Instead the chips were strangely chewy. No amount of salt or vinegar improved the lack of flavour. God knows what they were fried in. Like eating chewy cardboard. Absolutely awful. You should be closed down for ruining the Traditional Meal of Great Britain. Clearly the owner can’t take criticism. Instead of leaving rude responses to bad reviews, sort out your business and do better. Don’t worry, I’ll never purchase anything from your business again so this is the only review you’ll get from me.”

  “Good fat,chunky style chip shop with good food quality at decent prices(tucked away from busy manor road)easy parking when visiting,personally I ask the owner to fry up fresh chips and I don’t mind the extra waiting time.the fish is freshly cooked,beef sausages,veg spring rolls,paka pies & fish cakes too,shop does close at 8pm.”

  “Very disappointed by this. The chips were a slightly undercooked and therefore hard. The curry sauce had obviously been watered down a dozen times and arrived stone cold. The worst part was the fish, the batter wasn’t cooked through and therefore inedible. We put in the bin and ordered elsewhere.”

  “Lived nearby for a while but never popped in. Did so today and had some of the best chips I’ve ever had! Fresh, well fried and well seasoned. Yum!”

  “This place never disappoints me, my Friday treat for the family. Excellent customer service, clean, the women that works there is lovely & makes cod fish as you wait, very large portions. I say large fish & chips can feed two people.”

  “First time ordering here via UberEats. Must say I was really dissapointed with the chips portion size. I ordered a medium cod and chips and a single portion of chips. I assumed they would be large portions as nowhere it was stated small portion. Felt the portions were not value for money at all. On a positive note, the cod was on point. No faults there. Thank you for your response. Will do when in the area.”

  “I loved their fish and chips. When the owner is there it is still nice BUT over the last few months the quality and size went downhill. Today was the last straw. Fish small not cooked, chips half cooked and the lady behind counter RUDE. Will need to find new chippi.”
