About The Garden Vauxhall
The Garden Vauxhall is a beer garden in London at 6A S Lambeth Pl that turns into a club as the evening goes on, with DJ sets and themed nights such as a soul night and Latin events. Earlier on, loads of screens show live sport, including World Cup matches and other big events. Bars and vending machines serve the drinks, among them a Moth Margarita, and street food is on offer alongside. Entry needs tickets booked in advance, and a queue forms at the door. Security staff stand at the entrance and around the seating areas. Dogs are welcome. The venue is easy to reach by public transport.

Customer Review Summary
The complaints are mostly about entry and staff. Reviewers describe rude security at the door, pushing in the entrance corridor, friends let in ahead of a waiting group, and overcrowding that made the toilets hard to reach. One says security was too strict about seating. Another was told to go to a different fan zone because of the shirt worn, despite holding valid tickets. Slow drink refills and a long pizza wait with a wrong order are also reported. One reviewer lost a cocktail in a vending machine, and the barman said he could not help.

“Ive come to the Garden Vauxhall many times from watching football to attending latin events. Easy to get to by public transport, however parking is hard to find. Plenty of seating spaces, bars to get drinks & clean toilets. Always a fun atmosphere.”

“Came here to watch a World Cup game. The place itself is nice, but the security staff at the entrance were sooo rude, and I even saw them push some customers to make their way through the entrance corridor. They didn’t let our group of 6 go inside all together, but then proceeded to have people they knew skip the queue and enter whilst half of us were waiting. There were also too many people inside, surely this isn’t compliant with safety requirements. It was impossible to access the toilets without going through an enormous crowd of supporters.”

“Watching the 2026 WC finals here. Great atmosphere! Wonderful beer garden to watch sporting events. I would get here early. Otherwise you are waiting in line to get into the venue.”

“A few friends and I had tickets for the England fan zone. Earlier that day there had been a Brazil match, so we were still wearing our Brazil shirts when we arrived. While we were queuing, a member of the security staff stopped us and told us that because we were wearing Brazil shirts, we had to go to the Mexico fan zone instead. We were not allowed into the England fan zone, despite having valid tickets, and were told it would be “safer” for us to be there. This was discrimination. We were treated differently because we are Latin American and were wearing Brazil shirts. We were not wearing Mexico shirts, yet we were told we belonged in the Mexico fan zone simply because of where we come from. Assumptions were made about us based on our nationality. We were taken to the Mexico fan zone, but we explained that we had bought tickets for the England fan zone because we wanted to support England. Instead of listening to our concerns, security warned us that if we refused to stay there, we could be removed from the event. It was only after we repeatedly complained that we were finally allowed into the England fan zone. Once inside, we saw a few people wearing Brazil shirts. This made it even more upsetting that we had been singled out and treated differently. If I had been wearing a Mexico shirt, I might have understood the decision. But I wasn’t—I was wearing a Brazil shirt. There was no reason to send us to the Mexico fan zone simply because we’re Latin American. Making that assumption was discriminatory and unacceptable. I’ve lived in England for six years, and this was the first time I have experienced discrimination like this. It was humiliating and disrespectful. I’m extremely disappointed by the way we were treated, and I don’t want to return to this event. No one should be told which fan zone they belong in based on where they come from or the shirt they are wearing. I do want to add that, once we entered the England fan zone, everyone there was welcoming, friendly, and respectful. I felt completely welcome, and the atmosphere was amazing.”
