  “We visited here last week for my partners birthday and we were really impressed by both the food and service provided during our visit. I would like to give a special mention to Jess (Blonde Girl) who sat us down early and was attentive throughout making sure we had everything we needed with a smile on her face. She was so friendly and welcoming and was one of the reasons our experience was so lovely. We chose the 'Greedy Cow' sharer for 2 people and the portion size was perfect. All of the steaks were full of flavour and the sides were absolutely delicious especially the sweet potato mash and carrots! We asked for all steaks to be medium rare and one of our steaks was cooked rare but the staff had no hesitation to change this for us and then also proceeded to knock some money off the bill for the inconvenience which was so kind. There was also a young man with brown hair but im not sure of his name as he said he was new... he was also super friendly and kindly brought a brownie and some shots for my partners birthday which was extremely thoughtful. Overall a fab experience and will definitely be back here :)”

  “This was the best steak experience we have ever had. Went for the greedy cow sharing plate which came with two sides and two sauces. All of it was cooked to perfection, the staff were lovely and it was good value. Air conditioning made it comfortable on a hot evening. The room we were in was small but the tables were nicely spaced out, everyone appeared to be there to enjoy the food. To top it off, the background music was superb.”

  “Amazing steak and service. We both went for fillets and were extremely happy with the tenderness and flavour. Staff remembered I booked the meal for our anniversary, majority of places forget. Made the experience a 10/10 for me. The business has a strong mix of talented front and back of house staff that have got everything nailed down. Will definitely return next time we’re in Liverpool - thanks again!”

  “Absolutely brilliant service, lovely food, and hands down one of the best steak restaurants I’ve been to. The steak was cooked perfectly — tender, juicy and full of flavour. The staff were friendly, attentive and made the whole experience feel really special. Proper quality from start to finish. Would definitely recommend!!”

  “Been here for many years. Not had a bad visit once! Easily in my top 3 restaurants in Liverpool! Everything is sooo damn good! Flat Iron, ribeye, chips, the cabbage and carrots are my go to if youre stuck on what to order. Medium rare steaks by the way... proper steak lovers paradise and I stand by the fact this is the best pound (£) for pound (lb/ozs) steak you will get in liverpool! (And probably most cities). Top quality restaurant!”

  “Food was so lovely. Everything was executed to perfection, the sweet potato mash stole the show. Went for my girlfriend’s bday and it did not disappoint. All staff were warm, welcoming and attentive. Can honestly say it was the best meal I’ve had in a while. Would recommend.”

  “Very cosy atmosphere and friendly, efficient staff. The prawns we had as starters were absolutely and the fillet steak was perfectly cooked. The side salad came with a very tasty dressing. I didn't love the pepper sauce so would probably choose a different sauce next time. Cocktails were on point 🍹🍸 I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a steak meal.”

  “Me and my husband came here after watching Gary Eats review on the place. We came on a Friday shortly after it opened and it was already busy; which is a good sign of a great restaurant. Thankfully there was room for us and a lovely member of staff sat us upstairs. The decor was lovely and the great choice of music really helped set the atmosphere for what would be a sensational meal. We ordered the 3 person Greedy Cow platter (for 2, but we were hungry and greedy! 😁) and a couple of pints. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection; exactly how we like it, and the sides and sauces were all beautiful. The Savoy cabbage in chorizo cream was a standout for us as well as the blue cheese sauce, but honestly everything was incredible. I'd like to also point out that all the staff here are lovely and provided top tier service; especially our waiter Chad. GaryEats was absolutely bang on as this was the best steak I've ever had in a restaurant. Overall an amazing experience, we'll definitely be coming back. Thank you!”

  “A top quality steak restaurant. Beautiful intimate setting, knowledgeable staff, good wine, and not a horrendous price either. But the food is waow, in looks, quantity and taste. The sharing platters are great, the blue cheese sauce perhaps tasted more like cheddar but was so good, pepper sauce lovely, the steak was perfectly cooked, sides amazing too. Absolutely fantastic experience start to finish.”

  “Everything about this place is perfect. The staff are warm, welcoming and efficient. The food is impeccable. In particular the duck croquettes and prawn starters are extremely tasty. The steaks were cooked just to my taste. The accompanying sides are perfectly selected to make your meal extra tasty. Would definitely return for a special occasion as this place really fits that bill 😍”
